My sister and I hiked the beautiful West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island BC, over 6 nights and 7 days hiking SOBO (starting at Bamfield and heading South to Gordon River).
This video showcases each day and what the trail looks like through each section and our journey together on one of the best multi day hikes that Canada has to offer.
The West Coast Trail is a beautiful 75 km coastal hike that is difficult and challenging and provides a huge variety of scenery and is so Beautiful!

This hike consists of rough trails in the forest, slippery boardwalk sections, coastal walking on sand, gravel, and smooth sandstone shelf and over 100 ladders to climb and huge boulders to navigate if you choose the Beach route to Owen's Point.
There are bridges and cable cars across the major waterways, but some of the smaller ones must be forded and can be quite deep with strong currents earlier in the year.
This was a backpacking trip for the books and can't wait to return one day!
