Big Ambitions continues and we work on adding some of Bernard's signature style to the Boutique because, let's be honest, it's a bit boring. Plain wooden floors? Grey walls? No no no, this won't do at all!
Admittedly we do take a while to get round to doing this and we don't get it all done but Bernard gets to work on the walls and makes them look so much better. Bernard also moves the shop around a little bit to accommodate more clothing racks and he buys some signs so we can see what types of clothes are where!
In terms of making the store a little more automated we sign up for a new delivery contract with the wholesaler, so once a week they'll deliver clothes to us! For a fee of course. Additionally Bernard decides that he doesn't like cleaning up any more so we hire a new cleaner to help out, hurrah for shiny floors!
Also we take our very first taxi ride, we change the sign on the outside of the shop and we 'borrow' a flatbed trolley thing from definitely-not-IKEA...
NOTE: This is the early access version of the game.

Your bank balance is tiny, but your ambitions are big.
With a little help from your uncle, you get an apartment and your first job. But then it's up to you to achieve success and take over New York City any way you like.
Slowly build multiple small businesses, grow them into huge corporations, or carve your own unique path - the possibilities are limitless in this vast business sandbox. You've never played anything like this!
Go from a small apartment and public transport to luxury suites, fast cars and designer furniture. Put your money into investment funds and real estate. Succeed, fail, rebuild. But remember to take care of yourself, sleep and stay happy on your rise to the top.
Go from nothing to the most prominent tycoon in New York. Start a business, work smart, make it thrive and enjoy your life. How do you want to be successful? How far can you push it? How long can you make it last?
Start your own gift shop, supermarket, coffee shop, law firm, clothing store, liquor store, florist, and more. You decide what success is - whether it’s a single shop, a chain of fast-food restaurants, a huge corporation, or making millions developing websites.
Take out a loan, rent a building, design the logo, renovate the store, get stock, manage your money, hire staff, and build your infrastructure. Soon, you may have to start importing products from the harbour and distributing them through a network of warehouses.
A bigger business means managers. Hire HR Managers, Logistics Managers, and Purchasing Agents. They all need desks and computers, so you’ll need a fancy headquarters.
Need a delivery truck? Travel to a dealer and buy one. Need food? Go to a supermarket, but make sure you have a refrigerator at home. Big Ambitions is a life sim where your character has to physically interact with the world to survive and succeed.
Enter any building in New York and buy it. Go from a small apartment to a dream penthouse in midtown, a luxurious townhouse in Hell’s Kitchen, or a series of skyscrapers. Fill each with furniture that suits your style and standing. Invest your hard-earned cash in real estate to grow your empire. Take over the city piece by piece.
Spend your wealth however you wish. Buy a big SUV, a speedy sports car, or the new luxurious Mersaidi S500. Maybe risk it all at the casinos or put your money into investment funds and reap the rewards.
As you progress, you always need to ensure you get enough sleep and stay healthy and happy. Enjoy the journey, for as you grow older, you’ll discover that money can’t buy you time... or can it?

You might want to check to see if you're money is going down because someone else started another clothing business or is selling clothes for less - both of which would cut into your market. Also, don't forget your security. You might be losing money from stolen items. Loving the series!

Yes you can have edith do some cleaning, but it need to be outside her current working hrs. Like set them to clean for 2 hrs after their shift to a total of 7hrs a day comes to 49hrs a week wich is within the full time demand. But hiring a proper cleaner is more efficient and instead extend the opening hrs to give everyone 7hr days Btw, You can have the cleaners work outside the opening hrs, wouldn't want the customers to be interupted while they shop, and what if someone slip on the wet floor.

So, trim down to 2 racks of each clothing type instead of 3 Frees up 4 racks 2 Classic Expensive Male 2 Classic Expensive Female Classic Cheap Male and Classic Cheap Female can then go in the window. Boom! 8 types of clothing. No more racks needed. Just more variety of stock. Maths without Penge ;) Love to Northampton x
@TheGeekCupboard
@TheGeekCupboard 12 дней назад
That is true but a few people have said to maximise potential earnings we should have three racks per clothing type, because each rack allows ten people to view it per day, and we can have... thirty people... or something... Oh I dunno, people have said three racks per type of clothing because numbers!

@@TheGeekCupboard In order to get it to 30 you also need another cash register and more staff, they can only handle 20 and will be the new bottleneck

#TIPS: 1. You only need a cctv camera for a clothing store.. No need to spend money on the security door panels.. 2. Open bizman, insights and check customer capacity on the top right.. You don’t need 3 racks per item.. 3. Try to get a privet car.. Save transport money.. And also more cargo capacity.. 4. Get a pull up bar for some exercise and more happiness.. 5. Try scheduling your employees on different days.. (Not 2 people on the same day) So you can send them to training in between their off days.. ❤❤❤

When decorating, you're not charged for your changes until you accept, so if you overwrite one wall treatment with another, you only get charged for the last one. That means you don't need to revert, you just keep painting the wall until you have it looking the way you want.

No problem having the other one covering the whole day temporary, their mood may take a small hit but it'll be back up as soon as the shift is back to normal

You can add all the clothing items to the delivery list so you don't need to run around.
@DonGorgen
@DonGorgen 11 дней назад
The customer limit is not per day, it's per hr. Like if your capacity is 10 and you have 10 people in the shop then nobody else will enter until 1 leave. (Yeah it is a bit weird lol, lke why do everyone have to look at the same thing at the same time if you have other stuff. But I suppose it's added as a mechanic to make the game slightly more challenging) The 30 limit is the max capacity for the location you're renting, your curent limit is in the upper right corner of the insight tab (Atm you're at 10) There you can also scroll through to see wich item is the bottleneck. And btw, no point getting the racks up to 30 unless you also get another cash register and more staff, they can handle 20. (The larger checkout counters can handle 30)
@DonGorgen
@DonGorgen 11 дней назад
No need to figure out what is on what rack, just walk up to it with the whole hand truck and bernard will select the right box for you, but as others have mentioned, just use the storage shelf and the staff will do it for you (isn't that what you're paying them to do?)
@DonGorgen
@DonGorgen 11 дней назад
If you want the customers to be happy with the decor you're gonna have to go for the expencive stuff (even if they are a bit boring). What you did to the store now only got you to 8% score
@DonGorgen
@DonGorgen 11 дней назад
If you want to automate restocking completely you're gonna need a warehouse, then hire a purchase manager to buy from the import companies and get it delivered to the warehouse. Then you're gonna need a logistics manager and a driver with a vehicle, any will do but larger vehicles will be more efficient, a van can easilly handle 1 store. Also you're gonna need to rent a office for your headquarter so that your managers will ahve a place to work.
@DonGorgen
@DonGorgen 11 дней назад
Oh yeah forgot you could order from the wholesale aswell lol. Eventually tho you're gonna want to import stuff, even cheaper stock and no delivery fee, but you're gonna need to hire all the people I mentioned above.

Per Hour for shop capacity and clothing rack views. Also note that shopping baskets and tills have a limit. From my experience the cleaner is invisible

how to keep the "not Ikea Flat cart you can trick the game by having an item on it (any cheap item(thatcomes in abox)) keep it on the flatcart if not in use and move it of then you need it and put the cheap item back after use to not lose it
@DonGorgen
@DonGorgen 11 дней назад
The cleaners are invisible for some reason. Also, the satisfaction saying 60% don't nesessarily mean they are unhappy, new employees start at 50 and it'll go up if you treat them well. btw, part time is 10-30 hrs
