Shadowy Night I mean he did get a prophecy about them, Starclan wanted the clans to know. But I also have a theory that some prophecy’s/abilities are sent by the Dark Forest. (If there secret wasn’t exposed she wouldn’t have influenced Tigerstar, and help train other bad cats like Thistleclaw who also influenced Tigerstar.) And if Yellowfang never had powers Brokenstar wouldn’t have bullied and possible turned out different.

Actually now that I think about it, it’s confirmed the Dark Forest can send fake signs such as when Mapleshade sent the fake sign to get Crookedstar made deputy.

#1: she was a monster. When Frecklewish was complimenting her kits this happened. “Mapleshade had the urge to bat Frecklewish away. This kits are mine not yours!” Not only that but she was shown to be manipulative before even more. She does deserve what she got. And then she killed 3 cats for a unjustified reason. She deserved everything.

Not only did I find my new theme song but this song and map made me sub to your channel perfection really captures Mapleshade's agony and suffering and hurt I love it she was truly a mother scorned and I kinda sympathize her but as she is a dark forest warrior kinda makes me question her logic as well but still perfectly done good job to you and the rest of the animators for creating this ^^

one of the worst things I think is that mapleshade's kits were buried in riverclan terroirty. she didn't even get to say goodbye or have a vigil, she was just thrust out and blamed. I wonder if anyone would've taken pity on her if she did save her kits but she died? I kind of wish she fought to keep her dead kits with her, just to show how desperate she was and grief stricken. just a thought

it's possible that mapleshade going full feral was inevitable, but there are so many chances for cats to be nice to her and maybe this could've been avoided
