I do have to say she is a very sensible little girl when it comes down to choosing clothing because she’s picking colors that are neutral, and that will go with most anything, and her dresses are very sensible as well. You should be proud of your grandbaby, and I know that had to be a lot of fun to go out shopping with her like that. Enjoy and looking forward to the prom. ❤🤠.

I know there are hard days having a special needs kiddo, but, you have done such a great job with him. Norma here. It’s so nice that the kids are all invited to prom night. They will have such a great time. Another great memory for her….dress shopping with grandma and Gigi. The dresses were all beautiful and those shoes looked darling on her. I get it though, grandma knowing that she’ll need to change shoes at some point. I can’t wait to see you all dressed up. Elora will look so beautiful as will all the women. Kim, I used to be able to clean my entire two story house in a day. As I got older, it started taking me an entire week. Now I just do what I can each day and hope for the best. lol

Along with that Kim as we get older, and I think everybody can agree with this as women, we get tired very easily, and are not able to do the things that we are custom are used to do when we were younger. It’s hard to get used to you have to pace yourself out and learn your limitations as well and believe me it’s not fun.😮😢

Kim I took my first grand when she was 4. It was fun! I couldn't believe she knew her size and picked out 4 dress and we settled for 2 with two pair of shoes and sever different types of hair pieces. I was so fascinated with her that day. Several years later I took both granddaughters and that was even MORE fun. It was just the three of us and I laughed and cried that day, they were so funny. I still take them shopping and we still have fun. Kim continue to spend time with her you will never regret it.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊
I was the oldest of 5 children, grew up with 3 brothers and then a sister as the baby. My dad had his set ways at raising girls, dresses had to come to the middle of the knee nothing above the knee, no makeup was allowed and so on, which was fine with me since growing up with boys I was more tomboy and never learned how to be a girly girl. My dad passed when I was 20, so my sister got to be the girly girl and wear makeup and such before 21 since she was only 8 and had time to learn lol. Such a good thing when my girls came along, they were tomboys to because I had no idea on how to teach them about makeup and such even though they were allowed to, they just never had an interest. Elora is so lucky to have so many females around to do girl things with. Great memories she will have forever. Such a blessed family

It's okay to slow down Kim! Nothing has to be in a major hurry yanno... :) Pace yourself and do what you can as there is no need to stress or cause yourself pain when you have tomorrow to continue! I have the same problem as I have been remodeling and upgrading an old mobile home. I have pulled out walls, put in sliding glass doors where no door existed, Painted, shuttered, built fences.. on and on. What I have discovered in retirement is that time is not as critical as it used to be in a busy professional and mom/wife time. What doesn't get done today can be done tomorrow or the day after or even next week! I am 72... and I have learned! lol Love you Miss Kim!

That look when you mentioned the gold boots lol I remember when I could clean my 2 story house in a day (every room), now that I am 57 it takes me a week and then it starts all over. I had to ask Mike to start helping, which I hated because he works 10 hour days and he is 61 lol We are certainly a hot mess at our ages here in Missouri lol
Elora was having so much fun with you shopping. That is what is great when you see that smile and she is right no pain no gain with beauty. Her shoes looked amazing on her but she will learn in life take an extra pair to wear when those dogs start barking PAIN ha ha ... she doesn't know that expression but I hope she has a great time. You are such a great grandma!!!! And mother and daughter of course :) I used to have trouble sleeping as well. Melatonin would work great for me, only if I missed a few nights of taking it.
