Actually I just spray for fun knowing i’d eventually get a bottle that will spray juice on its initial press, so we all know it’s not a bulletproof indicator. For number 1 above, It eats so much time for the vid as most just want a batchcode of the bottle I am reviewing and my opinions on it. There are same formula codes that smell different. That being said I mostly purchase from the house boutique itself anyway so i smell the tester first before i decide to purchase. Oh as for number 2, the millions of pictures we see in frag groups having their bottles LC’d (Legit Checked) with all their caps off in glory. Not to knock, but if it reaches that point, i’d just advise my viewer to study hard, get a good job and buy directly from the house. Not sounding negative man, but thanks for taking time to drop by and write. Regards.

@@KILATIS I see loads of Facebook photos of bottles with the top cap off but not the spray nozzle cap. Few in the groups know that the atomizer is usually the giveaway for the counterfeit. As for the FORMULA code, both that and the batch code could be placed in the "show more" area under the video if the extra few seconds take up that much time. There are several reasons fragrances with the same formula code and ingredients can smell slightly different: 1) The natural ingredients for the essential oils are being sourced from different companies or forests. 2) Maceration of the bottle. After air gets into the bottle and a tiny amount of perfumer's alcohol dissipates, an older bottle is going to usually smell smoother than a new one after a few years, despite no reformulation. 3) When a new batch is cooked up, there are left over ingredients placed in vats. Those could be used and added to the next batch when it's prepared a few months later for a popular fragrance that's selling. Regardless, it's always helpful to know when the formula code changes. Most in the community don't even know there's such a thing as a formula code. The reformulation almost always affects performance. You're in a unique position where you can educate newcomers to the hobby by always including the information and hammering it home to your viewers who usually buy at discount.
