Perfect for Dry Skin in Spring
If you rotate your products seasonally, or use different day and night creams, please keep reading because this product is surprisingly versatile. I have mature skin (age 57) and my skin ranges from normal to dry depending on the weather. I’ve long preferred gel creams for daytime, but they don’t always offer enough hydration for my needs.
At first blush, I thought the Barrier+ Skin Barrier Restoring Gel Cream wouldn’t be a good fit for me, but it provides ample hydration when paired with my usual hyaluronic acid serum. I’ve worn this exclusively during the daytime for over a week, and I haven’t felt the urge to mist my skin once. That says a lot for the formula because I live in the SoCal desert and apply this before walking our dog in the chilly, breezy morning air. The texture is thin enough to absorb quickly and thick enough to feel like it’s an actual cream instead of a gel.
I’m so happy to recommend this to my friends with combination or oily skin as well as those who want something light for daytime that also plays well with long-wear foundation. No complaints here.
