Thank you so much! I find Skinfix a bit thicker in texture and more nourishing for my skin. When I was using the Skinceuticals Triple Lipid cream I found that in the winter my skin would lose a quite a bit of moisture overnight but with the Skinfix my skin retains the moisture better and I have noticed my skin is just more plump and moisturized and the fact that Skinfix is not as pricey is a bonus. 😊

Hi Vee! Thank you so much for your comment. The ingredient that contains the peptides in the ingredient list is the Hydrolyzed Rice Protein, which is a cosmetic grade vegetable protein that contains amino acids that is supposed to help the skin’s moisture barrier (for example help the skin retain moisture better). Now with that said, this product claims that it targets dehydration and dryness, which I agree with completely and this is why I really love it because it has really helped my skin retain moisture and hydration. For me a moisturizer should help hydrate and keep the skin moisturized and when it comes to “anti-aging” products I turn to serums (vitamin C) and retinol (and sunscreen of course) because these are the products that will penetrate deeper in the skin and make more of an impact. As far as the similarity between the peptides used in the Drunk Elephant Protini moisturizer vs the Skinfix Triple Lipid -Peptide cream I am not able to confirm if one is better than the other (based on the peptide ingredients listed), but in my opinion I think that the Skinfix Triple Lipid-Peptide cream and the Drunk Elephant Protini moisturizer serve similar purposes, they both aim to hydrate and moisturize the skin and through this it will make the skin appear plumper and make the fine lines and wrinkles appear less visible. I also want to point out that this is exactly what a good moisturizer is supposed to do, plump the skin to make the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles look reduced. There is no miracle moisturizer that can actually reverse aging and this is why my focus was to find a moisturizer that really helps my skin retain moisture better. Let me know if this helped. I liked the Skinceuticals but for the price I just don't think it was worth it. Let me know what you think about Skinfix once you try it.

Do not worry you are not missing the straw, the jar is not supposed to have a straw. The way this moisturizer is dispensed is through a piston (a white disk that is the bottom of the pod under all the moisturizer that is inside the main blue jar). Every time you press the pump to dispense product the white disk at the bottom or the piston moves up a little and when it moves up it pushes out moisturizer through the top of the pump. Once the piston gets all the way to the top of the pod the moisturizer is finished, because no more product comes out of the pod when you press the pump. Sometimes especially the first time you use the pump you might need to press it a few times to get the moisturizer out. Let me know if this explanation helped, I know it was kind of long. 😊💕

Gluconolactone is a more gentle exfoliant than AHAs/BHAs that is used in a lot of skincare products. It is also a humectant which means it attracts water to the skin making it a hydrator as well. It is usually a good option for those with sensitive skin who cannot tolerate the AHA/BHA exfoliants. It also has larger molecules which means it does not penetrate as deep into the skin (another reason why it's a good option for sensitive skin). It does work well with Vitamin C, AHAs/BHAs, niacinamide, and even retinoids. When I used this moisturizer in my routine in combination with a retinol or an AHA/BHA or vitamin C I did not have any issues. Gluconolactone is listed pretty low on the list of ingredients in this moisturizer, which means the amount of Gluconolactone in this moisturizer is pretty low. Firstly thank you so much for watching my video. 💕 Yes, you can absolutely use this moisturizer twice a day (in the morning and at night). When I use this moisturizer I use it twice a day and I really love how it helps my skin hold on to moisture throughout the day and overnight.

@@thecristinamaria Hello M'Lady. Yes, I love the greasy type feel of it. I agree with you as well on the fact that when you use if before going to bed, you face is still moist. I'm in IT so I pretty much spend every day at work in a freezer, literally, because as you know, the servers must be in a air conditioned space. Even with the it being so cold, my face stays moist. Idk if you use or have used Dead Sea Mud Mask, but I use that on Sundays then after I washed it off I then apply the Skinfix :)

Using a good moisturizer is so important especially if you are in a cold environment. Ohh I have not tried the Dead Sea Mud Mask which brand do you use?

I looked on their website and it doesn't look like they ship directly to Europe, but have you checked Sephora, they may sell it there. I have also messaged Sephora to find out if they carry Skinfix products in Europe, I will let you know as soon as I find out.

They don't sell exactly the same products there as they do on the english or american online store. I've checked so many online stores and couldn't find anything. Maybe I have to wait^^

I use this moisturizer whenever I use either BHAs or AHAs because it helps my skin retain hydration. I also use this moisturizer in the morning with my vitamin c serum and it works really well with the vitamin C. The peptides will not react negatively with vitamin C or BHAs/AHAs.

Hi Jackie K, I think this moisturizer can really help hydrate your skin and keep it nice and moisturized. One thing I do in the winter months, especially at night when the air is drier is add some Vaseline (petroleum jelly) on top of my moisturizer. After I complete my skin care routine, including my moisturizer, I add some Vaseline on certain areas (e.g. under my eyes) where I want to make sure my skin retains as much moisture as possible. The petroleum jelly sits on top of the skin and creates a barrier that helps prevent hydration and moisture from leaving your skin and can also help repair the skin's barrier. It's also very gentle on your skin. My skin really loves this Skinfix moisturizer but adding the petroleum jelly really amplifies its hydrating benefits. Let me know if this helps. @@jackiek4159 oh thank you so much! I have only really started looking after my skin in my 30s and I have completely changed my routine. I use a super gentle face wash (twice a day max) it’s the CeraVe Foaming Cleanser and I stopped using physical exfoliants like scrubs because they totally irritated and scratched my skin and can actually disturb the proper function of your skin barrier. I switched to chemical exfoliants like BHA (currently using Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant) and I noticed that it gave me much better results. I only use it once a week to twice a week max and I found that my skin looked better. I also use a retinol most nights but not when I use my BHA. That’s what’s been working for me. Let me know how it goes if you get the moisturizer. 🥰

@@tatianarod8194 I know this moisturizer is just so amazing! To answer your question, yes you can put this moisturizer in the fridge but it won't actually make the product perform better. You will get the same results if you do not put it in the fridge, although it will give your skin a nice cooling feeling upon application when the moisturizer is fresh out of the fridge. I also noticed the smell but that’s normal, I’m on my 4th container now and each one I tried has the same smell. The smell does go away after I put it on though, for me at least it does, like after a few minutes I don’t smell it anymore. I really love this cream and the smell is something I’ve learned to accept since I love how great this product works with my skin.

It really depends on the type of skin you have, I would say if you have oily skin this may be a bit heavy, but for combination skin I think this may work nicely. My skin is more combination in the summer and this moisturizer worked really well with my skin.

Sorry I am not exactly sure, but it usually lasts me about 1.5 months and I use 1 pump twice a day (day and night) for my face and neck. So if I had to guess I would say maybe it has anywhere between 80 to 90 pumps of product (that's just an estimation). Hope this helps.

Hi Hiba, here are a couple of moisturizers that have some similar benefits as the Skinfix moisturizer and are at a better price point: 1) The INKEY List Peptide Moisturizer - I have just ordered this one to try it out because the reviews are great and the price point is fantastic. 2) La Roche Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer - it has Niacinamide and Ceramide-3 which help restore skin's moisture barrier and help skin retain moisture. It also has Glycerin which is a great humectant, and the price is not bad either. Hope this helps. Let me know if you try any of them and what your thoughts are. 😊

Oh no that is not good, I have heard recently that some people have that reaction to it, I would stop using it of it burns, your moisturizer should not make your skin feel bad.
