Fabulous Experience, Just Wish It Was Stronger
Rarely do I start a review by mentioning that I plan to be loyal to the product after just a few weeks of testing, but Exponent has turned skincare into an experience, and I want every single active in my routine to come from this brand. Period.
First, let’s talk potency. When brand founder Liz Whitman explained that a product loses nearly half of its potency in just six weeks, I was shocked. Learning that mix-on-demand actives deliver optimal efficacy has made me rethink my entire routine.
I’ve been using the Time Rewind Retinol Power System for approximately three weeks, and I adore the approach, the texture, and the fact that I’m seeing some results without even a hint of irritation. To be fair, I’m a Retin-A power user (top strength; used 3-4 times per week) so Time Rewind’s 0.25% retinol is a very low concentration for my current tolerance. But … and this is a biggie … this is a product I actually look forward to using, so I’ve been very consistently using it nightly.
The biggest change I can see in my skin is an improvement in texture around the jawline and the forehead. The skin feels smoother, and since I’m able to use it nightly, I think I’ll begin seeing results on my neck fairly soon and potentially under my eyes (where I wouldn’t dream of using top strength tret).
Closing Thoughts: If Exponent was able to manufacture Time Rewind in a higher percentage, I’d be on autoship instantaneously. If you can’t afford to try this now ($98/mo) make sure you save up for it. This is definitely worth buying!
