I've dug out more dams than I care to remember. Two things that always struck me about beavers (in our area at least). 1) They don't reuse the limbs and sticks after you pull them out 2) Dig the dam out first thing in the morning. They don't usually start rebuilding until early evening. More time for the water to flow. They certainly earn the 'busy as a beaver' moniker attributed to them.

As I see beaver dams broken up I wonder what happens to all the wood can people use them for firewood or would someday we see someone go around with the wood chipper and chip that would up. New way to make another video

Mantas I don't understand why people think of you as an understudy of post 10. You're videos are superior by far. You're humble approach to saving farm land and the forest is noble. And in my opinion the drone footage is on par with seasoned cenimatophers with years of experience.

Kenislovas and Post 10 videos are different. Post 10 mostly clears culverts to protect roads, while Mantas removes dams to protect farm and forest land. I don't try to compare them.

Have an idea. Put a pipe in an plug the out flow. This will allow the beaver to build a damn. Then open the pipe. The water will drain but the beaver will not know why. Maybe he will move on.

I've been watching you on my TV for a long time, but the was no way to subscribe. Turns out, I logged in to RU-vid on my phone a long time ago, duh. I apologize for any comments that might be repeats: 1) can you split screen with overhead shots from your drone as you release the water? Some drones have station keeping. 2) eBay "walking sticks from repurposed beaver dams" 3) eBay "kindling from repurchased beaver dams" Be safe, keep up the necessary work.

I know I'll catch some flack for this, but from what I've seen from his posts, is that unlike Post 10's "get er done" American work concept, this fella has no problem taking a lot of breaks with the European work concept of it'll get done eventually.

They are big size in our country :) They don't have natural predators and canals are not cleaning properly. So they have best opportunities there :)

Have you ever thought of trapping beavers in proper areas to thin heard. There are many good dishes you can make with beaver from roasts to deepfried. Save the pelts and cure them. Here is a decent dish with beaver meat. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k7LcuU7mM1E.html
