Beaver's Revenge - The "Dam" Grizzly Threw Me!

Out for a short ride before a snow storm was supposed to hit. As usual, these quick rides turned out to be an action filled afternoon. We couldn't believe how many beaver dams we came across! There must be a lot of beaver in the area! Seems that the beavers were out to seek revenge on me for breaking one of their dams. They cursed me with a voo-doo hex that resulted in the Grizzly throwing me off and me almost landing in a beaver pond!! We were experimenting with some different settings on the go pro, so the movie is actually not in HD but seems to look pretty good!

A few years ago, the wife and I got to log a few miles in "da-bush" outside of Ely Minn and up into Canada. A couple things yall cant make up is, "better get out the bug juice" in the bush". It was a fabulous ride and Im reliving it with you. Thank you.

Hand guards would be nice and I had them on my XR. Funny, I racd MX and road off-road pretty much my whole life and wore every protective item possible, but on the quad, which has always been a "work tool" to me I didn't even wear gloves. ha ha! thanks for the replay and enjoy your spring, will be looking for future ride videos!

Thanks, yes we always have a great time! In this ride I was using the Garmin map 60CSX. I have now upgraded to the Garmin 62S. They are very similar - just a newer version. They are rugged, easy to use and have been very reliable!

Hey Cubbee, just wanna say how much I enjoy your videos, n someday soon I'll be making a channel to showcase my awesome rides. anyway, a lil tip ID like to pass along to help you out of those predicaments where your stuck, and winching forward is not a great option, I mounted a wich under my rear rack. saved my skin a few times when I was lookin for trouble loll keep up the awesome work guys!!

Great video - I got the KingQuad out this last weekend - I'll have to post a video of that. Not nearly as interesting as yours though. Glad you had a soft landing and Grizz didn't jump on you. Haha yeah watch out for your radiator also. We recently bought a pressure washer for our Grizzly and that was the first thing we were told. Our pressure washer seems okay, but it doesn't clean it that well

if you could make a video to show how you did it that would be great!! im not sure how well it would work on my helmet because of the vent, but i think i could figure it out. if not ill just mount it off to the side a bit, and use some of the links to put it more in the middle

all of the places you ride are awesome. most of the trail looks like open trails.are they good for a side by side

Thanks, we are very lucky to live and ride where we do! Majority of the trails are logging roads/old bush roads and these would be great for side by sides as they are wider.

Oh, thats not problem! I was wondering though, i dont know to much about them so i have a couple short questions.. Does operation at high speeds hurt them? also is going through mud and water bad for them? I have turned around on many trails in fear of damaging my quad. Thanks so much!

hey Cubbee when i flipped mine i bent the rim like it was trash.And its a Suzuki LT-Z 50. when u lean back on my dads dirt bike Suzuki RM-Z 450 your on your back and that things long gone!!!At 6:32 it looks like a arrow.

Yamaha makes by far the best most reliable atvs on the market today. I still have one my father bought just to get around on the farm. He bought it back in 1984 when yamaha first started making them. The motor is in good shape still fires up the second you hit the button. The rear end is shot though its a small one but to be almost 30 years old and still runs... Thats a quality made atv in my book!! can ams are pretty to look at but im a yamaha fan for life myself.
