I just realize that this is a reverse situation with Stewart and his parents. Stewart wants to hang out with B&B while his parents don’t, while Cody really wants B&B to leave but his parents want them to stay lol.
I think that's why this isn't as funny. The fat kid doesn't want them there. Beavis and butt-head don't want to be there either. And the parents are just too dumb to live
They made them different.... not smarter, like at all.... but they made everyone else more realistic and more aware. And in turn, it made B +B something better.
I just miss the 90s animation style, wish it was hand drawn again but that's a tall order these days. Still, pretty amazing they've managed to make the show fresh and appealing in modern times. Fingers crossed the King of the Hill reboot is as well made.
You say this but, parents like this shelter their kids too much which actually massively disadvantages them and you clearly misunderstand that Mike Judge is pointing out how unbelievably tone deaf and dumb they are
@@ronboerste1813 idk... that's kind of mean. It reminds me of my ex. She used to take toys and dog treats and throw them to get the dog to chase, and then she'd rush out the door and the dog would be confused and bark all day. She would do this when I was asleep and I couldn't calm the dog down. If she left normally, the dog was fine. She would get me interested in having sex too... and then I'd be laying in the bed and she'd be "just a minute" but really she'd dash out the door and go to the club. That is why she is my ex. I don't know if that is the same, but it seems similar enough that it reminded me of that. I think it'd best to give a proper "goodbye".

TBH the Cody dynamic is so obvious, it would be surprising he's such a new character, if it weren't also the case that the new episodes don't like reusing the old characters. He'd probably fit in the old show
Everytime Cornholio comes out, Butthead always says "This is gonna be cool", "Whoa", "Cool", or some line similar, then doesn't say anything the entire time Cornholio comes out, honestly I think its because he knows better not to mess with the almighty bunghole. The one and only bunnnngholeee.
After so many years seeing the great cornholio again like this has brought back the glory ! I actually cheered with delight. I'm not a kid no more but at 38 im proud to be part of this since still
I like how Butthead took Cody’s PS5 and his parents didn’t care about him taking it either when they walked out the door, I love how Cody was asking Beavis and Butthead to leave
those are the kind of parents who would buy their kid a replacement instantly anyway - anything to make their kid happy with no sense of discipline or instilling good values as better parents would
