I agree however these younger queens just want to be pretty. Aja can be beautiful and perform the house down but a lot of younger queens cannot. Please, in season 7 most of the "young" (the bitter old lady brigade were mostly the same age! They just had a different style of drag) queens got away with wearing the same silhouette, often underwear, and underperforming but were saved for being young, thin and white. The "older" queens were irritated because of the unfairness to an extent, but like Katya said they were mostly reading other queens as drag queens tend to do, but ofcourse were deemed bitter by the fandom 🤷. It's really not the same. In that context Bebe is right too

soltan alosmi I find it sort of "too much" when younger queens have 50 different looks and wear 20 different wigs. Like they don't have a trademark look. And it's fine to reinvent yourself, but not everyday. Like jinkx, bianca, alaska, katya, ben dela, sharon etc.. they all have their drag persona fully figured out.

And lots of "young" drag queen that dont even research first about drag culture itself mainly just think that you are a drag queen just by putting a lot of makeup and it's sad honestly. They see something trending in internet, think they can be them, but they actually do that just for the instagram photos. Idk how to explain this, but basically, lots of newer queen think just because they look up to drag queen girls in RPDR, they can be one. They dont even try to go out and find out about their local drag shows.

We don't live in a vacuum. Someone else most likely already did what you're doing now. So saying these newer queens are copying is a little extreme. I don't think that drag has to be that deep. If you wanna do drag and not research the history, I say go for it. Sometimes it's about being young and having fun and expressing your creativity and alter ego
