Fan Threatens to Hit Bianca Del Rio then gets in Her Face! 

Insult comedy is something that people have a very hard time wrapping their head around. You go for the jugular. The worse you are, the better it is, and very little is taboo. But as an audience member, you go in knowing that those are the rules. Bianca isn't hateful herself - this is how this type of comedy is done.

I think important context for Bianca’s humor is also the setting. This is in a gay bar filled with lgbt people, people of color, and women. It’s a room full of people that have experienced actual discrimination or oppression at some point. This is a chance for us to laugh at it together and know it’s not actually out of malice or hatred for any group of people. If it’s not your type of humor, that’s fine you don’t have to go. But don’t make it out to be a bigger deal than it is. It’s a drag queen making jokes in a gay bar, not a government official making statements on national television

I went to one of her shows and was able to get a picture with her. As we were about to take the picture she said "damn you beautiful, bitch" "got that glowing skin and shit" Best compliment ever!!!

Anybody that gets offended by Bianca has no sense of humor. Insult comedy is her thing and if you are too sensitive for that, go outside and don't watch her show, because if you try to read her, trust and believe she won't even pause to read you right back...I love her and I want her to win! =D

This boy was upset his friend didn't win after his friend who was not part of the four people on stage was yelling to be let on stage. When he was let on stage he did his part and left. Bianca of course read him and it didn't go over so well with his friend. He started yelling and moving around so she let him come up stage and say his part. What you didn't see was that he grabbed the mic a second time and smacked her on her shoulder It cant be seen in this video but it can in others. This is what happens when you bring people to gay events they have never been to before its real cute until they act a fool. You had to pay to get into this event it was not free and outside of the club it is posted that there will be an insult comic and that the show is not for everyone that racist comments will be made and that there is a chance that you may be picked to go up on the stage. I am full blooded Mexican and I am not offended and Bianca herself is from the Latino community. The boy is lucky that someone didn't deck him or that the police was not called on him. Personally I would have hit him if I was near by for putting his hands on someone else who is putting on a show.

Obviously I can’t speak for everyone in this club, but if I paid to go see a BdR show and WASN’T insulted (either directly or by some stereotype to another person) I’d be absolutely gutted, because that’s what I’d come to see. If she made fun of me for my race, clothes, hair color, whatever, it’d make my night. There are of course people who don’t feel that way, but I have to wonder what on earth they’re doing at her show in the first place? So that guy was WAY off. What’d he expect to see? Was it just funny until she made fun of HIS race? If so, that’s far less fair than what he expects from her. She makes fun of everyone-including herself (the whole thing about graduating in 2001 killed me)-and if you don’t like insult comedy, why would you go to an insult comic’s show?

The comments suggesting that Bianca's humor is inappropriate are ridiculous! She is an INSULT COMIC! What the Hell did you expect? I recommend taking the energy you used to criticize her to the people who deserve it- namely choice members of the Republican party who ARE NOT joking as they try to take away our civil rights. Its crucial to our survival as gays and lesbians to develop a sense of humor about ourselves. NO ONE is above being made fun of if its done in the right spirit. I LOVE Bianca because even when she is reading someone, its done in a spirit of fun.

I love Bianca Del Rio! I wish I could meet her or at least go to one of her shows! I have been a huge fan of hers. I love her wit, the way she looks, the way she laughs, talks, everything about her I love.
