LYRICS: Too strong too strong too strong too strong too strong too strong That's the law! Wake up! too strong too strong too strong That's the law! Wake up! Everybody wake up Everybody wake up Everybody wake up That's the law! too strong too strong
I feel guilty when comparing this piece of shit to Wrapped in Black (Sonic Rush's final boss theme), only because they both sample Malcolm X's "too black, too strong" quote, except that this lacks the "too black" part. While Wrapped in Black has an amazing beat and melody and sampling Malcolm X's famous quote _works_, this is just a crappy yet (unfortunately) catchy rap beat (like any other theme in the game) with "too strong" and "wake up" being repeated over and over. Hell, Wrapped in Black works much better as a rap beat than this garbage even though it's not meant to be a rap song!
+DragonishChaosArt Shockingly, "Too Black" is still in there, just that its sample pointer was replaced with a duplicate. I actually restored it in .spc format while going secret hunting in this game.
DragonishChaosArt I thought I recognized that sample from "Wrapped in Black"! It's funny to me how two different games' final boss themes sampled the same thing, and one turned out awesome while the other...didn't.
You can thank that fact that this game was released in mid-1994, slightly before ESRB, which means Nintendo had to censor it, for not adding 1 more voice sample. Though the song would still be annoying even uncensored.
