This song still brings me to tears when ever I hear it, just understanding the words as they're sung. I don't see how 14 people can give this a "thumbs" down???? I'm puzzled as to why and what exactly is wrong with their hearing and musical taste.

Every time I hear this song, it reminds me of the gut wrenching scenes on The Passion of the Christ and what my Jesus went through just for all of humanity. It humbles me and leaves me speechless the Love Jesus gave and YET GIVES! GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAT THIS THAN A MAN WHO WOULD LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIEND!!🙏🏽

Hi Brandon, Yes, Ronald's spirit is very much alive, but in the presence of the Lord and not in the earth realm. I believe Ron passed into God's presence in 2005.

I first heard Bebe sing this song on an Oprah show shortly after 9/11. During the song videos of fireman, policemen and other first responders going into the twin towers to rescue people. It made me cry and truly understand Christ’s sacrifice for us. I’ve save the song to my favorite and play it regularly.

😢I love Jesus. He took the penalty of our sins upon Himself because God's Word is surely true in saying that Adam and Eve would surely die for the transgression ... for the wages of sin is death. In them, we know death. Yet, Jesus endured suffering wrongfully as a criminal that He, the perfect sacrifice without spot nor blemish to be offered up once and not repeatedly as it was with the sacrifice of animals, might die in our stead once an for all. Thus, in Adam, we know death; but in Christ Jesus we know the Resurrection ... yes, even the Catching Away if we are alive when He Appears again unto Eternal Life. For this cause, we are to resist sin, from which were Redeemed for as to willfully sin is to put Him to an open shame and crucify Him Freshly. I love Jesus who Died for me, my loved ones, and all who are in the world ... for God so loved the world that He gave (in our stead, you see) His Only Begotten, Son ...and in His Faithfulness, He raised Him from the dead on the third Day unto Eternal Life and sat Him on His Right Hand of Power until He make His Enemies His Footstool ... with the last enemy being death (ref. I Corinthians 15). Death together with hell (Hades) will both be thrown into the Lake that burns with fire (Ref. Revelation 22). We shall be saved that have repented of our sins and believed on Him, the Messiah of all, for our salvation. Those of us who overcome will walk with Him in white. By His cleansing Blood we are washed and made clean ... our sins forgiven. #InHarmsWay😢💗
When I hear this song I think of the sacrifice of not only Christ. I also think about the sacrifice of the many men and women of the military that lost their lives all in the name of defending freedoms that some twist and manipulate and others so easy toss away. RIP to all that have served and healing to the countless families that have lost loved ones who have served this country 🙏 💔 😢.

I've always loved this song by BeBe. I remember when he sang it on Oprah's memorial tribute right after 9/11. His singing of the song with pictures of firemen and policemen helping victims of 9/11 in the background brought me to tears. No better words to express God's love for us, and in turn, our love for others.

Even when we have not noticed if someone has done something and for us even knowing that it is putting them in a difficult situation even detrimentally think about someone that has done that for for you or for someone that you know that you've done it for and they haven't realized that you don't mention it to them at all you did it from your heart and I'm not talking about giving materialistic things I'm talking about being there through the worst of situations even if someone has done something to put themselves in that situation sometimes people even put themselves in a situation without full knowledge and understanding out of unconditional love trying to save someone else from home God does it to yes I know God puts angels in our lives that gives us hope even the smallest grain of sand is the small things that we don't notice that we think is small but to God it's huge😢❤😂 I know because it has happened to me and I've done it for the first people also you don't even have to know them it doesn't have to really be family
