I remember the 1st time I heard this song. I was a senior in high school and it's been over 20 years. I fell in love with it and I wasn't even saved at the time. Now, I have been living for Christ for almost 10 years now. God is so AWESOME!!!! My love for Christ supercedes any friendship on earth. He is definitely a friend that will NEVER leave you. Hi all, I just wanted to say that Jesus is a TRUE friend! He is also a Healer! I have suffered from depression, joblessness, abuse and some of everything else that can make life a struggle. One thing I have learned is that HE is a Healer. He makes all things new again. He did for me. Praise Him saints!!!!
I love this song! Man!........ So many memories from the 90's. I remember watching this video air for the first time on Video Soul with Donnie Simpson and it made me stop and look at my life back then. I was a party animal who cared very little for anything. This was my first introduction to The Winans and Gospel music. It made me notice by the beat the then the lyrics took my heart. Thank god! I'd be dead by now if I didn't make that change and I thank the Winans and BeBe and CeCe for that.

This reminds me of my parents. They realized they had a five year old free spirited daughter who had to be taught the Gospel in her own special way. They bought me everything this family produced and these lessons have stuck with me through life. Thank God for Godly parents! :D

This song reminds me back in the 90's when I was a little kid. Playing outside and people would have their boombox on their shoulders or on the pouch step and they will play music for everyone to hear. i feel some type of way..my father loved this song and i remember when i heard it back in 1990 when it came out. We werent a gospel type of family, however my father being raised in Detroit loved the Winans...those were such good times back then, so innocent and pure. I miss those days so bad.

in september 22nd 2013, Iost my wife of twenty eight years, two after her funeral we lost my sister-in-law, three days later, my second grandchild,in December my dauhgter-in-law lost her dad and in january of 2013 my mom passed, I lost my job ,car, and home in less than a year. with all that I will not complain.
