I like the your films pick out life from the mundane, even in still shots. Are you planning to be a film/movie maker? Very good pieces by the way.

I’ve got to say that as I’m going through your videos I find them not only interesting but relaxing too obviously the background music helps but it’s the generally unhurried way you both present things and discus things, The imagery also is unhurried and not jarring, I especially enjoyed seeing that old church and what I think is like a little garden attached to it with the sparrows?, Also the Graffiti Artist at work on a new design for some reason caught my eye and imagination, BTW I’m not Vegan or Vegetarian but some of the things you eat look so delicious especially those faux Chicken drumsticks my mouth watered lol!.

I don't know if I can say that I am "personified" in this district, but it is my favorite district... so maybe that counts? But the Theater District is MY FAVORITE! I just love all the lights! And now I'm instantly hearing the song "bright lights, big city, that's the life for me!" in James and the Giant Peach! Haha! But I mean, I love all the hustle and bustle of the peoples. I LOVE to people watch! Plenty to choose from there. I love a broadway show! I love talk shows! I love to walk around places to shop (not that I have money to shop, but I love to walk around and look at stuff). And if memory serves me correctly, the theater district includes, or is at least very close to, Central Park, which is a lovely respite from all the hub-bub. And maybe that is me in essence; I love people and I get so much energy from being around people, but ONLY if I know I have someplace I can be where its quieter and still and I can be alone and peaceful for a while... but still not be too far away from all the action.

I am always struck by the sheer number of people living in NYC. What I mean by that is this: when you showed the building with several floors and air conditioning units in some windows I thought about the people who live in that building-each with their own story -their own life. Each moving about the city, working, eating, breathing. And that was just one building! I need to come back and visit (I only passed through Manhattan on my way from CT to TX and got a quick taste of Times Square, The Top of the Rock, a Japanese restaurant and Magnolia Bakery (best coconut cake ever!) NYC has always held a fascination for me -the energy is palpable, and the way you present it makes it more interesting. You show it from street level , from the perspective of two people who live in that high-rise I mentioned-and I really enjoy that perspective.

I've been living in NYC all my life and appreciate how certain individuals view the city through their eyes! Also makes me realize how much I take it for granted! Great vid Cody!

I think I’d be Park Slope as I am simple and love the simplicity of the classic and consistent brownstones, yet there’s so much more as you get to know the neighborhood. Interesting question to think about.

Cody, you picked my fave areas... I leave Staten Island a few times week, to roam those areas, freelance, see friends, etc.
