Takes me back. We used to use Beck lyrics as rules in drinking games (you say a line, next person has to follow with next line etc...each successful person pours a few sips into the communal pitcher, whoever cant think of the next line drinks it...fun stuff) lol
@@donaldburnet6948 Ha Ha jokes on you - you were so high you didn't know I was there. I layed down the tightest, subliminal, legendary beats that night. You were just so-so.
This is a treasure. The fact that it matches the album version exactly gives the impression this was an improvised performance. Pretty incredible. I want to be funny like Beck.
WOW!!! I've always wondered what this performance looked like?!?!?! Back when I was about 12, me and my cousin used to camp-site every saturday (well, camping without a tent, just slept next to fire in the woods), and we had this song on a mixtape which we used to listen to on a dictiphone, those were the days!
In my mind's eye, whenever I listened to this track off to Stereo-Pathetic Soul Manure, I envisioned him playing in a seedy club to a room with only a handful of people in it. Seeing this video footage now, it looks like he's in a coffee shop kind of venue.
i agree too ! since that album ( stereopathic soul manure ) , i saw him a few times and it was always great ! Genius of the folk / rock scene defenetly
Dzeimz Mingow - someone else must have been recording audio, if it's on the second album and the same sound . my transferring setup is down, if I can get it functional again maybe I can get more of this show up.
