yeah when playing through the second great war campaign i spawned a daedric warrior, odahviing, durnehviir and one of the champions from sovngarde to take back riften. elves seem to be allergic to death
maybe talking to THE JARLS and PRIESTS for support. THAT be immersive. AND having a scene where ulfric dies in the final battle of the stormcloak side of civil war and his last words are for you to rule. using a TRUST and RESPECT. reputation like system.
I think it would be cool on your reunion tour, to do Jarl if Iverstad mod, then High King. You can role play Jarl is the first step to becoming high king. Really enjoy your content!
I've played jarl of iverstead multiple times only annoying thing is the mod spawns too much redskins or what ever that npc is called all over the riften area. Which annoys me to the point of not installing it in a new play through
@@iMyThlcIt might be a bit late, but Skyrim nexus has a no redskull spawn so when you finish the main quest line just add that mode and they will no longer spawn.
this really should've been in the main game or one of the expansions, considering the dragonborn is, well, fucking dragonborn, not only do they have most legitimate claim to empire's throne but frankly after all the work you do saving the world from the dragons, vampires, and miraak, they are the most deserving of the throne to skyrim.
I used to want to be High King but then I realized I wouldn't want to be in charge of an entire country, nor after I found the Thane overhaul do I want to be Jarl...With the Thane overhaul and a nice castle mod in the hold of your choosing it makes it feel more realistic and that your actually making a difference in Skyrim without being the one in complete control...
There was a mod called Return to Helgen. I think it was better than Become High King although you could use both at the same. Return to Helgen actually allows you to become governor of Helgen and then eventually Emperor of Tamriel. Not sure why the mod author removed it because it had to have been a lot of work to make the mod. I used it in conjunction with Become High king. First becoming governor of Helgen then progressing to High King after the civil war. Then continuing to become Emperor. I hope it returns one day.

There is a mod called the Shiv of something in a site that should not be name. It just a small dagger that can use to attack anyone with zero penalty. No idea how they did it but it would be perfect addition for this kind of mod
combined with all the war best mods unlimited enchantments, helgen reborn , 2nd great war or even become a lord you will have 1 of the best games ever played
I’d rather you either marry Elisif to become king, or have a battle for succession where you have to win few battles to become high king. I definitely want Nazeem to be one of the contenders so I get to defeat his army and make him swear allegiance to me.
personally, i've always wanted to (as a Stormcloak) drive those wretched witch elves from my land. i'm guessing it would take a heavily scripted DLC type mod to get that accomplished? looks like this is the next best thing.
A more "immersive" way to do this is download the mod prior to a new game playthrough, install it, and as you play and complete missions ask the NPC's if they'd support you. By the time you complete main story quest and have to pick a side in the civil war, you've got enough influence to make your own king claim instead and enter the fray.
By pick a side in the civil war do you mean doing either storm clokes or imperials mission like how you would in a normal play through? I’m just new to all this shit 😂
I wish as high king you could focus on things like improving the economy, infrastructure, reorganizing the military and government. Improve or harm relations with other provinces. Levying tax and creating a dynasty.
Definitely a mod im gonna try. However would have been cool if u could move the capital from Solitude to Windhelm, i think fits more as royal seat for the High King.
I tried to do the lazy option because I couldn’t be bothered to look for 60 people to please, but when I went to Arngeir (May have spelt his name wrong) with the 1 broom and 400 gold, there were no chat options.
What I did as High King was, I made the cities better. I installed some mods to make their visuals better and to show that rubble was being cleaned up since I started my rule. I got rid of corrupt Jarls and made people who were better suited for the job into the Jarls of that city. My favorite experience was upgrading Whiterun and getting rid of the racism (through mods) I was able to make the entire province of Skyrim a better place by having the citizens embrace true equality.
Actually, you dont need to have killed Alduin. Literally the first thing can do is talk to 20 NPCs you have a positive relationship with, marry either Ulfric or Elisif, and have 50k gold before you even start the main quests.Thats why the OG version of this mod is still better
Here's how I think it should go: Requirements: 1. Player must beat the Main Quest 2. Player must beat the Civil War Quest 3. Player must be at least level 50 The questline starts with "Coronation" when the Dragonborn is invited to witness either Elisif or Ulfric crowned by the Moot. When the player sleeps, they are whisked away to a remote Dwemer ruin where they are confronted by a member of the Psijic Order, who are implied to have been subtlely influencing events from behind the scenes. They believe another war with the Dominion is imminent, and that the current ruler is too divisive for Skyrim to rally behind. They need a powerful warrior with an equally powerful reputation if Skyrim is to survive. The Dragonborn fits the bill. You can reject his offer, ending the quest then and there, or you can accept, leading into "To Wear the Jagged Crown". The player, if they haven't already, must become the leader of either the College of Winterhold or the Companions, as well as Thane of at least one major city and one minor city. The player must get at least 20 standard NPCs and the majority of the Jarls on their side. Once these requirements have been met, the player must confront the current ruler. No matter their standing with the monarch, they will refuse to abdicate, prompting the Dragonborn to challenge them to a fight to the death. This begins "The Old Way," the final act of the questline. The fight is held at the Throat of the World, with the Jarls and Dragonborn's supporters as witnesses to the duel. Fighting Ulfric is significantly harder, but he allows the use of the Voice in combat. Elisif does not, and using the Thu'um in any way while fighting her will immediately disqualify the player and fail the quest, but she isn't much of a fighter and goes down easier. When the battle is over, the player must take the Jagged Crown from the corpse of the King or Queen, and is crowned High King then and there. Later on, the player is spirited away in their sleep one more time, with the Order representative congratulating the Dragonborn on their ascension, warning them of dark times to come for Skyrim and not to underestimate the Thalmor. The player is transported back to their quarters in Solitude and the questline is complete. From here, the player can do basically whatever they want.
I would install just to throw Nazeem's bourgeois ass in the arena or mines and marry Elesif after avenging her husband's murder. I still don't get why Hroki isn't available but Elesif is royalty anyway.

I personally liked the keep that was under solitude yea it wasn’t already in the game but I liked it cause it had something from every place the Dragonborn was in and it was like this museum type thing for me goin to that keep when ever I thought of something I did earlier in the game and then get to see a piece of it again is cool
I feel like a cool requirement rather than the 60 people would be becoming thane for 5 holds. Gaining the support of the jarls and then holding the moot where they chose the Dragonborn over either Elisif or Ulfric.
Then after becoming high king download an Elder Scrolls mod for Crusader Kings 3, or Total War. To continue your immersive playthrough there. Now not as an individual, but tuler of a nation.
Wait, did you say this mod doesn't make sense for the base game? Why not? You can come to lead pretty much every other major faction or group in Skyrim, why would leading Skyrim itself be so crazy? XD
2 things 1 surgus will not talk to me. Killed him to get the crown. 2 After doing that I used your console command and the game didn't reject it but nothing has changed
When I got this mod for Skyrim I used the cheat to become High King but I noticed that NPCs only act like your high king when you say one of the phrases the mod adds does anyone know now to fix this or is this just a thing in the mod.
Yeah, doesn't seem "immersive" at all. Appointing Jarls on your own, becoming the High King without any "real" support of influential people (didn't know that Skyrim's hobos had so much saying in this), breaking the law by forcing people to hand everything they own over to you... On a side note, I personally never wanted to be High King. I just wanted a cool, medium sized mage tower for family & friends. Can't wrap my head around an adventuring High King.
I personally don't think it makes sense for the Dragonborn to be King or Emperor, I just know it's something often requested by a lot of players. Like you said, the player's an adventurer. Skyrim isn't a game about the player getting super involved in the day to day politics of the province, it's about quests, dungeons, and dragon slaying.
@@0periodproductions I know and I appreciate your presentation with your critique. Imho it would make more sense to gain influential power of some sorts, like owning mines, influential people owing you a favour etc., especially combined with being a Thane, but then again, it would need to be implemented into some sort of questchain or overarching story to make it interesting (like influencing the civil war, for example). But sometimes some players just want to let some guards dance, I suppose, that's alright for me. :p (sorry for the grammar, 2am here in Germany)
@@0periodproductions I mean.....it may not be what some player's want, but lore wise......it's 100% possible. Tiber Septim was a Dragonborn, a general and an adventurer as well, and he became the emperor. So I can see why most people want to see mods where the Dragonborn becomes the high king or the emperor.
@@0periodproductions From a lore perspective it makes complete sense, as essentially a dragon the LDB should want to dominate people, most Dragonborn's in the lore, if not all of them were always rulers.
I mean who REALLY deserves to be High King? Some weak Nord leader of a racist hold, who knows 1 measly Dragon Shout, who needs help conquering a city, and who most likely can't even clear out a dungeon full of bandits, or draugur... Draugur Deathlords would hand him his a** on a silver platter... Or The last Dragonborn, The Guildmaster of the Thieves Guild who brought it back from the dead, to it's former glory, The All-powerful Archmage of the College of Winterhold who wields the fabled Staff of Magnus, The Storied Harbinger of the Companions who has the strength of Werewolf blood in 'em, and the Thane of all the holds, a true master in the art of the Thu'um, who knows all the most powerful versions of Dragon Shouts, and who eats Dragon Souls for breakfast... Plus the Dragonborn literally saves the world, and solves everyone's problems... I choose the Dragonborn over the failed leader Ulfric, any day...
If I didn't complete the thieves guild, and I was already high king, could I promote karliah to something and she will stick around instead of disappearing?

I love mod idea until you Dragonborn 1000× more powerful than the thalmor can't beat the thalmor. I always join the stormcloaks because the thalmor attitude of talos worship. And the combination attitude of the thalmor as if they are 1 step away from being a God. Just would love to see a 2nd great war and the Dragonborn obliterate the thalmor showing them how wrong they are to dictate a religion in a foreign land that isnt even theirs to dictate.
Yeah... High Elves suck... It WOULD be great if something actually came along and humbled these guys, like a virus, that targets High Elves and drastically reduces their life spans, or the Dragonborn just obliterating their entire race, because he surely has the power to do it...

Both versions are on Xbox but use the original this one doesn’t work on Xbox for me atleast I was stuck on a Skyrim loadin screen for like 30 mins before I disabled the. Uninstalled to have mod space
Ok the second time I am typing this comment before the window the closes on me for no reason... I have 61/20 followers Why it now says 20 insteadd of 60 is beyond me! The crown is on the table but has STEAL on it and I spoke to Surgis and paid the 1500, and nothing happened. He has a crown on him but I have to pickpocket it from him in order to get it. So far nothing is going right with this mod, I hate to have to spend 3 or 4 days getting 60 supporters again that was a major drag!! I also spoke to Queen Eilis and she just says, "It is a mighty fine day for you to be around." I'm at wits end what to do next other than start over with the mod.
