A video on how to style various sized silk/chiffon scarves as a plus size person would be so helpful! I agree that they add so much elegance, but I rarely seem to tie them in a way that works for my shorter neck and larger chest. I haven’t seen anyone else talk about this, so I thought I would ask.
I am very glad I came across your channel. I'm an over 50, plus sized petite woman. Your videos have inspired me and given me hope. I binged your videos and learned so much. Thank you!
This was very helpful. I would love you to do the style video. Women who wear the same size but are different heights, is one challenge. Also can you do a refresher on the starting foundation of an outfit, the undergarments. This can make or break an outfit! Love all your videos ❤❤
I'm so glad you're looking for items with sleeves! Thank you for all the fabulous tips you gave us. I really appreciated it. Would love those anytime! 😊
Hi Oralia, I absolutely love this new segment. Adding to our style knowledge is always a plus, so please bring on the body type/shape video. As always thank you for sharing! 🥰
I would love to see a video addressing on how to dress for your body type. Fortunately I dress quite similar to your style but with in mind my body type.
Yes, a body types video! I appreciate your videos so much, it is great to see someone else who is plus size and petite sharing style options. I wear plus petite in most pants and tops. I used to wear dresses all the time but can't seem to find any that look nice on me. Thanks so much for what you do, it makes my day so many times.
Sage advice. I used to work with a woman who we said had an iron deficiency - and it had nothing to do with red blood cells. It’s a particular pet peeve of mine. My biggest take-aways from your content have been the importance of fabric content. It really has been a game changer and something not usually discussed. I’ve also rediscovered proper trousers. Even when home all day I’ve found they’re comfortable and just make me feel good about how I look. It’s a nice feeling to start your day and carries over. I look forward to your videos every week.
My teen years were in the 70's, I will admit to being a hippie. I still have my silver charm bracelet and my scarab bracelet, I receive compliments on both, I still love them.
EXCELLENT video, you had me from the very first tip to the last. In this day and age where it seems like pajamas are the chosen outfit 24/7 for people of all different ages and socioeconomic groups, it is such a breath of fresh air when I get to hear from someone, like yourself, that truly takes pride in how they look. My mom had a saying for all 4 of her children, “Never leave the house until you look presentable in the best way that you can”. She said that to all of us for so long that I have never forgotten it some 50 years later and she passed away when I was 23. So, to say that she was a powerful influence on how I present myself to the world today, every time I leave the house would be nothing less than a huge understatement. Thank you, again, for your channel and your teachings as I, for one, am still am holding out for our society to start caring again.
Thank you for sharing the excellent exercise move to combat a hunched over posture! I was confused about your comment on Ecovero being polyester? I always thought it was viscose (wood, not plastic)
I really like your videos and your voice is very nice. I have to respectfully disagree with your statement that it doesn’t matter how much weight you have on your body type (structure) for the fit of the cloths and the way they look on you. There is absolutely huge difference in the way same cloths look on a skinny, athletic, or let’s call it very curvy woman.
Body types, there are so many and some combined. I know mine is crazy, 2x on top sometimes an ox, xl, 1x on the bottom depending on the make of the outfit. I don't have heavy legs which is great. It's my stomach area. I like to wear comfy. Things that flow or my tunics and leggings in Winter. Trends are fun but classic to have forever. I don't like slacks. Dresses are cooler in summer. Joggers or shorts around the house, even a comfortable dress type like a lounge type, but some you can run out to the store in. Caftans are nice. Can always have fun with my jewelry.
I am still waiting for plus size styles with real integrity . Unfortunately that can sometimes mean more $$$.You know what I mean by unique styles ? Blazers are fine for most but not real original. What can I do?
