Small tip: if you use the conquest cb you save the 75 diplo points from taking non cores with reconquest cb (due to having claims on everything). It has pretty much no downside when you only have the single core in enemy lands.
Funnily enough, just an observation, but I've noticed that AI Muscovy has become weaker in the new patch. In the hands of player Russia became OP, but AI still doesn't know how to handle its neighbors.
@@CoolBonobo ya i also noticed that. France and Ottomans ai go extra ham but in the hands of a player all the new countries seem so OP. The merc mehanic is genuinely hilarious when as Switzerland you can 1 v 3 Ottos in like 1500
I am still doing my Muscovy into Russia campaign and it is great. I didn't conquer the Commonwealth because they were my only ally for a long time. I gave peasants freedom by giving the privileges to Boyars and later I chose Parlament so a little egalitarian roleplay. I also picked temporary claims with the bonuses just like you. I gave like 4 monopolies, I like them becuse they give you so much mercantilism. I went for Espionage, Religious, Aristocratic, Quality so far.
I prefer diplomatic as first, you have to annex many vassals, and AE is not really a problem for Orthodox nations with icons. Also, the minus 20% province cost helps a lot with early expansion.
@@danielforeroc Yes Diplomatic is great, in general there are so many great ideas and combinations. I did Espionage + Aristocratic for the first time, sometimes it is good to experiment a little.
The guide is good. One thing that is highly recommended is to no CB Byzantium directly after the Novgorod war. Then when the Otto's declare like they always do, you vassalize Byz and call in all your allies defensively. The war is incredibly easy, because the Ottos have no allies and you can call all the allies you want and this happens before they hit the next mil tech. Note you need to improve relations during the Novgorod war with Ottos and PLC/Lith so they give you mill access - That's it. This is an incredible power move because it sets the Ottos back A LOT, the PLC is not match for Muscovy if Muscovy allies Bohemia, Austria and you have a free reign to expand in ALL DIRECTIONS !
Pro move: sometimes novogrod guarantees tver, so you can peace out novogrod for 100% war score, day after attack tver (call in novogrod) and reset the truce to 5 years with them
I had a Russia playthrough that I did slightly different. First war should be Kazan, which is on occasion only allied to Uzbek / Crimea. Steal their gold mine + Ural cultured provinces for your vassal Perm, he'll convert them if you integrate them last. Only core the gold mine for income. Then invade Novgorod, steal border with Scandinavia and don't core anything. Let admin points stack up until you have enough for admin ideas + coring cost. Then attack Tver, tver is quite often either guaranteed by Novgorod, you can use this to reset a 100 peace deal truce back to a 5 year truce. Odoyev can also work since they are usually in a trade league. Full annex either and don't core, just wait for it to run out. By the time truce ends with Novgorod you should enough admin points to get 5 tech + admin ideas to reduce ccr. This way you'll be ahead all game. Dev the gold mine for big income as you usually would and the world is your oyster. Also, espionage is extremely strong with this, since claim creation cost never increases for Muscovy.

i think they should scale event based rebellions by your development. i did the english civil war recently and it spawned two 11k stacks on the british isles. i was in the middle of creating an angevin empire that owned the entirety of europe and had a 500k standing army with 250k of vassals. huge huge shame. it was like bringing a machine gun to a boxing match
for russia id actually reccomend defensive ideas as a second ideafor russia since it seems almost tailored for them. 20% morale of armies is the single best idea for winning battles. usually high morale and low quality is bad because of mannpower usage but thats simply not a problem with russia. it gives you land maintenance to help with money, and the fort defense and attrition plays into the geography of russia with siberian winters. with defensive ideas you can simply plough your way into an enemy country and ignore the straggler armies as they die to your siberian winter forts. also its a different idea group from normal so thats always a plus for gameplay diversity. that being said you really cannot go wrong with russia if you can survive to age of reformation.
I just thought of a new way to start the Cyprus into France campaign that let's you keep aragon!, take Rhodes and then attack Genoa for their Greek Islands and corsica if you have the range, if not, hope they have a small Italian ally (lucca) that you can vassalize
Something i'd add, is that the main target in the early game has to be nerfing the Ottomans. You need to race to the Black Sea and then get allies together to take Ottomans down. Take Constantinople and release Byzantium. This makes the mid and later game much more enjoyable because if you let them grow then they eventually come for you and the worst thing in EU4 is when you are in a war with Ottomans that they start, as they will simply keep coming for you.
At 5:25 you shouldve stabbed once since neutral stab and +1 stab have massive differences. Even while starving on adm mana you should have pozitive stab
На реддите нашли баг. Если есть трейд нод, где никто не коллектит и есть возможность его пиратить, то можно провернуть следующее. Релизим вассала, который коллектит в этом ноже и забираем у него торговое влияние. Отправляем пиратить туда флот и наслаждаемся несколькими тысячами дукатов в месяц. В нашем случае релизим Рязань, предварительно прогнав всех из Новгорода, переносим торговую столицу в Архангельск и пиратим Новгород. Проверено в 1510 году, доход 10к в месяц.
Весь прикол как я понимаю в том, что в новом патче сделали какие-то модификаторы торговли при дайверте трейда в зависимости от торгового влияния. И они в нашем случае скейлятся по экспаненте

Can anybody help? I follow every step and I just can't amass 10 admin power monthly... I even get a level 2 advisor and still only have 9 per month which means I never complete the first mission!
Have you given out mana privilege (it's from clergy) and set a focus to admin? The ruler should have stayed the same since the guide release, so something is weird. You can also get +1 mana if you have >50 power projection, but it shouldn't be necessary.

I just can't understand how people manage to play at speed 5. Seems to me at speed 3, there are, but for the very very early game, always something to do. An army to split and move, a rebel suppres to enact, edit to remove, other to enact, diplomats and merchants to move around, missions to read and plan, the alliances game to look around, etc. ... Playing at speed 5 is like playing twice as fast and twice as bad...
What do you think about picking aristocratic as first mil group idea? It seems op af rn i feel like, every modifier except the first one is double and you generally gonna use all of them
I can't really say for sure which DLCs you need precisely, but I'll list all possible ways to get more monthly mana. Advisor, focus on admin mana (+2), estate privilege (+1), >50 power projection (+1). So you should get 10 in total: +3 base, +3 ruler, +2 focus, +1 privilege, +1 from advisor, 10 in total
I know the pain. Just make sure less than 4 nations can join the coalition (that can be achieved either by truce management, or timing conquests). Or, if coalition is really small, just let it be. In such case, Ottos would declare anyway, even without coalition. Ally Austria and some smaller nations, and you're good
i think i take religious 2nd ... the admin points are a problem and i am swimming in mill points which get wasted so i still feel admin idea first is not a good idea
I just prefer taking religious first for earlier deus vult, and because you'll conquer tons of sunni lands. But it's mostly matter of taste and your monarch skills.
No dlc except domination, just repeat opening moves in the guide and you should be fine. Focus on admin, hire admin advisor, grant mana privilege to the clergy.
Новгород основной трейд нод, ещё в теории можно в Казань перенести если в Новгороде маленькое торговое влияние. В Новгород можно перенаправить почти всю азию, так что лучше сфокусировать именно на ней. В тк как минимум центры торговли или одна провинция из одного региона, т.к. будет возможность купить улучшение тк, а оно действует на весь регион, плюс тк даст торговца если имеет влияние больше 50%. Так-то можно всю Азию в тк, если позволяет governing capacity.
@@CoolBonobo спасибо, примерно так и думаю. Ещё вопрос, может ты знаешь: трапезунд запихал в тк, влияние в ноде более 60%, а купца не дают. При наведении пишет, что надо 50%, а есть 21%. Что-то я это не понимаю...
Единственная догадка - влияние идёт не от провинций, а от кораблей. Ещё можно попробовать запихать больше провинций в тк, пока не появится торговец. Больше догадок нет.

Я пишу без каких то претензий, просто хочу высказать свое мнение. Гайд плохой. Как с точки зрения действий, так с точки зрения наполнения. Я не особо сильный игрок, но к 84 году, я делал 60+ дохода и 80к+ рекрутов. Тут не рассказано про перенос столицы, нет объяснений застройки или хоть какого-то распределения средств. Воевать с Казанью, не забирая провинцию с ТЦ абсурд, так как она генерирует половину дохода, бедствие легко избегается без траты драгоценного развития. Есть еще много разных вещей, которые не рассказаны или сделаны плохо. Это можно назвать мои 50 лет за Москву, но гайдом не стоит.
Согласен, гайд не самый лучший из тех, что у меня есть. Есть небольшие ошибки. Но в моем понимании, гайд - это общая стратегия за нацию, стратегия которая всегда работает. Подробный гайд сделать невозможно, слишком много рандома. Застройка, распределение средств в гайд не входят, этому надо учиться самому. В принципе, все необходимое в гайде было упомянуто, я играл за Московию очень много раз и знаю как обычно все проходит, плюс до этого сделал два тестовых забега до 1480-х. Я также пытался сделать гайд НЕ сложным, чтобы любой желающий мог его повторить, поэтому да, можно было играть намного эффективнее. Бедствие в моем случае, например, никак нельзя было избежать без траты развития, физически, других способов получить живую силу уже нет (профессионализм теперь даёт бонусы к восстановлению). Но бедствия это чистый рандом, в тестовых играх у меня оно не случалось. Казань надо ВСЕГДА окружать, даже если придется пожертвовать центром торговли. Банально будет гарантия, что в будущем можно будет всегда захватить, да и на раннем этапе Казань не самая важна нода, главное захватить центр как можно скорее. Даже в этом видео на Казань одновременно напал Ногай, орды любят доедать за Россией. Я не отрицаю, что гайд не идеальный. Но я не могу придумать другой стратегии за Московию, разве что сначала атаковать Казань/Орду или атаковать Швецию (часто в союзе с Польшей) или саму Польшу (явно не для новичков).
