I am a guy, and I really value these podcasts. Other than the parts about being a mom, I feel like 100% of this is directly applicable to my life, too (and even the mom parts I can get value out of if I think about it in terms of being a dad, or even any other important but hidden work). So thank you for making these, for having and recording these conversations, and know that it isn't just women who are being blessed by them.

I just love how farm-to-table this entire group is.

I’m like you Melissa. My soul and body is burnt out. My worth has been in my giving and I have had people not understand that I am choosing to leave my job now because it is a job where I take care of others, when growing up, no one took care of me. For 40 years now I have taken care of countless people whilst pushing aside my own needs and this is affecting me in very bad ways...affecting my relationships, mental health, now chronic illness with no financial or family or friend support... I’m afraid to tell others, that I feel the Lord wants me available to Him alone...for a while...to try and overcome some areas of sin in my life and to journey me geographically as He desires. I feel stupid for even saying this because it feels the road less travelled but I know what He is laying on my heart. The church has often not been a place for me to have a safe place to tend to my emotional health. So I have left. Listening again to you gives me hope again that leaders are also going on a journey to spiritual emotional physical health. I learned to immediately enter into friendships as a caregiver which ultimately, backfires. I do anything to avoid true intimacy because of deep traumas abandonment wounds...I’m only learning this now as the Lord has been showing me. Church doesn’t feel safe to me to explore this. The Lord recently showed me in Song of Solomon (you reminded me when you talked about the Lord with the pruning shears...which He has indeed been hacking me to pieces lol), that “I am a garden walled up...there are choice fruits inside...” The enemy keeps telling me the opposite as well as His bride quite often! When they haven’t understood that I have been doing the work behind the scenes many others haven’t.

You guys just put beautiful language to everything I’ve been feeling the past week. Thank you so much.

This helped me so much, I got fired from my job on Monday because the health food store decided to start selling alcohol and I couldn't do it. The Holy Spirit led my words and helped me set the boundary to say I couldn't and they fired me with no notice and it is causing financial struggle BUT I know my value is secure in Christ even though I was fired!

Right on!- "What's wrong with King David, right??!" - In the past, I've always been questioning, why so much suffering and beating on the pain and suffering in the psalms, like when i was younger I couldn't wrap my brain around the intensity of pain described soul and heart ache.... UNTIL the very day when I "was" King David, and my knees and heart had to cry out my heart to Him, only knowing that was just the crack that begin to open wide to this day, layer after layer feeling it all with Him together... what a journey! It takes deep brokenness to understand King David. WOW, next A-level podcast. love love how you apply scripture to real life.

" If we dont know how to get honest with the Lord and go to the root system, then we are like. "You know what - I will read Bible every day." And then we don't! Why? Because we are not going to the depths of like of what is actually keeping me from coming to the word of God every day. We are not asking the better questions." These podcasts have create so much fresh hope, joy and faith in my heart!!! It has given me so much joy to be confirmed in my mind in what my heart already believed that the Lord doesn't desire perfection, but connection. Please keep on uploading more podcasts like these, it is so against religion and the things we hear so much in the medias and therefor so encouraging!!! Thank you so much!!!!

so so good , thank you ladies for your honesty. i can relate to every thing you talked about.

So basically we all work... We just need to choose the" right work" . And doing things our way and not take time to sit , like Mary did at Jesus feet, is wrong. And will wear us out! I know cause I am living proof 😭. I can't seem to get it in my head and heart to stay, that we'll never be needing to repent more than one time for the same thing. Like we can fall back into the busyness of life and push aside the needs of our hearts until we're not able to function anymore. God help me... I'm sharing these with people. I've been loving it! And looking and waiting for more.

Wow , this is so good! Please make more of these videos. I listen to part one and now part two and they’re both so rich and so different. I am actually in my mid 40s and processing through a lot of stuff and this video is powerful about relationships and about our mental emotional health and well-being. how you said for us to give ourselves permission to process through how he feels so good!!!

Please pray for me. Losing everything over my decision not to get the vaccine first it was my job now it’s my home. Me and my children are facing homelessness. I am a single mother with two beautiful children that suffer from autism. I feel all alone in my situation I have no family or friends to help me. I am all alone I will continue to have faith that my Heavenly Father will provide for me and my children please pray for us thank you.

......oh my Goodness. Justine’s testimony was exactly what I needed to know. Phyllis’s wisdom. I literally feel like you guys just took a lists of my complaints, questions and concerns and even desperate place and said- this is what God is saying, no actually this is what God’s voice sounds like. Down to feeling edgey and wanting to isolate and asking God what is this? I lost my Dad to cancer in January and while consciously I was at peace I just burst into tears when Justine said she missed her mom. God was like - that’s what I have been trying to tell you. .....
