Seniac: To get rid of the alert press Q or press the alert. At the stations are Stop Markers, that are signs with a big S on it. You need to finish a route to get Exp and points
Quick fire tips: 1> You should sound the horn at *(W)* (whistle) boards. 2> Stop near the markers on the platform 3> *AWS!!!* That annoying signal alarm thing that you had needs to be cancelled within 6 secs. To do this click the *!* circle button at the bottom, like how you released the e brakes, or press the hotkey _Q_. 4> To gain xp finish the route 5> On the schedule, the orange station is the station you are approaching, not the one after the orange one. 6> You get less points per stop for overshooting. 5 points for not overshooting, you lose one point and more the further you overshoot, 0 points for a complete overshoot and that is a skip. 2 skips in a schedule = Train despawns. Have a safe journey!
Steps to access more gameplay content: 1. Join the SCR group in the description of the game 2.Attend training sessions. By doing this, you can become a dispatcher and clear trains to depart or become a signaller to control the trains and to stop them or let them pass through signals. Btw press Q when the warning with the ! shows up, it clears it.
At the stations there is a marker that says S on it sometimes there will be specific car markers like 3 cars which means depending on how long your train is that’s where you have to stop. When the *Boop* noise which keeps saying you’re ignoring is called an AWS. You have to press Q or click the icon in order to acknowledge it. At stations you have to enter at a speed of 45 mph as per SCR Qualified Driver training rules. To earn EXP (Experience) you have to completely finish the route you are driving. If you want any more info just ask. I’ve played the game for a while and have also reached the rank of DS (Dispatcher) Have Fun! Merry Christmas!
Also to add less about gameplay and more about trains. The 357 and all the other trains are British trains most are from the North of England and some like the 707 and 801/802. Some are all country trains like the 43 which is unfortunately dying out due to it being not ecologically friendly. Connect represents companies like East Midlands Railway or Southeastern. Waterline represents companies like Northern (Note Waterline is the most difficult line on timeliness as the schedule is extremely difficult to keep up with) Airlink represents companies like Heathrow and Gatwick express. And Express represents companies like Virgin East Coast. This is completely unrelated to the game. :)
Did you mean LNER not virgin east coast? Connect : -London Northwestern Railway- Llyn Northwestern Railway or Chiltern (Regional, Commuter) Waterline : West Midlands Railway/Northern (metro style, tight schedules, good for grinding) Airlink : Gatwick Express (Although I would say Airlink is worth travelling on in SCR, while GX is not any better than Southern services to get to Gatwick and is overpriced) Express : Avanti -West Coast- Westwyvern (Formerly Virgin Trains (West Coast), or LNER (Formerly VTEC). (Intercity Express)
Hi, Seniac, Big Fan, When The Yellow Thing Pops Up, Press Q On Your Keyboard, Or Click The “!” And Also, Look At Your Speed, See The Number, That’s The Speed Limit, To The Left, There Is The Speed Limit! Make Sure At Terminus Stations (End Of Line Stations) Your Speed Is Slow, Around 5 Near The Buffers. If You Touch The Buffers, You Will Despawn. Avoid That. There Are Other Lines Like, Express, And Waterline.
12:24 "quite a long line" You should try the Connect from Stepford Central - Llyn-by-the-Sea. 20 stops. 43 minutes...if you're on time. One extremity of the network to the other. 13:13 Yes. They're the black signs with white writing that display a number (or 'S') and 'car stop' below it. They correspond to the number of carriages your train has, and shows where you should stop. 'S' is where you stop if your train is any longer than any of the other ones. 13:27 When it happens, for the love of God, press Q. Or click the exclamation mark. Whichever takes your fancy. All you need to do is that, and maybe also slow down because it means there's a red signal ahead, and if you skip that, then you get stopped. 23:35 Red or yellow signal ahead. Might wanna slow down. You can go back through the tutorial through the Settings menu...and might be helpful to pay attention.

When you want to stop a Station, there’s a marker called” S car marker” or “ 3,4,5 car marker” and if you stop there, your train will be fully in the platform and when Dispatchers dispatch you, you will be in the exact place
When you want to stop a Station, there’s a marker called "no marker" or “ 0,0,0 car marker” and if you stop there, your train will be fully in the platform and when Dispatchers dispatch you they will fuck you up.
Hey seniac! Noticed that you got little problems! - When the AWS (that thing that breaks your ears and that stops you) activates, you have to click it, or press q (for azertys use a) - To be sure all your cars are in the station, there are signs with numbers. Check your number of coaches (the free train has 4 cars) and stop at the correct marker (the 4 marker because you have 4 coashes). Also, sometimes stations only have a S marker. In that case, you have to stop there. Hope that helped you!
Seniac the train works like this: The thing that kept stopping you is called AWS. next to it it tells you the next signal. It’s supposed to warm you that there is a signal ahead that is not green. There is a place you need to stop. There is a sign on the platform which has a 4 and ‘car stop’ on it. This says where you need to stop, because your train has 4 carriages. If your train has 5 carriages, stop at the 5, etc. If there is no numbered sign, stop at the ‘S’. I really want to see you drive Express or Airlink because they are the fasties! Thanks Seniac you are the best Choo Choo
12:58 Route Knowledge. However there are markers on the platform which mark where drivers should stop, e.g. 4 car stop for 4 car class 357. Otherwise they usually stop at the very end if no marker is provided, or they can stop before the end if they know the rear is clear when no marker is provided, it is down to road knowledge and experience (not the in game xp lol). The main problem is when drivers stop short of the platform or completely overshoot, posing a risk to passengers as the doors could open (not in the game, there is an automatic selective door opening system) onto the tracks and could fall out if they are on auto pilot and listening to music/looking at their phone while alighting.
Please make a series of this game, I love it. Also you should join the group and you can get more ranks, you start as trainee driver then go to qualified driver to dispatcher to signaller.
I’m a Signaller in the game and I have been playing this for a while and I was laughing through this and shouting at my phone what u were doing wrong😂 I want to see u do more videos on this and get better at this.
Ok so to clear some things up about the game I'm going to answer some of the questions you had. 1: To acknowledge the dual amber, amber or red signals you need to click the button with the (!) on it (like you did) or press Q on your keyboard. 2: You must respond to the signal system, aka Automatic Warning Systems or AWS, so that the game knows you have seen that the upcoming signal is in a state other than proceed. 3: The signals usually are dual caution or caution when approaching a station or when there is a train in front of you. 4: On the station platforms there are car markers with numbers on them usually from 3 - 6 or they have an S on them. You stop at the marker with the number of cars your train has, in this case, 4, if there are no markers with your number of cars you should then stop at the S. Those are most of the questions you had but just as a tip there is a digital dial next to your throttle with 2 numbers the top, larger number is what your current speed is and the number below is the speed you should be doing. You get points by stopping at stations. You get 5 points per station. You get experience when you finish a route and you get 1 XP for each station you stopped at. Points are like money you can gain then spend them. XP, on the other hand, you gain and when you have the amount required you will automatically unlock the routes that you can obtain without losing it. Sorry for the lengthy comment just wanted to explain some things.
As a long time player, i will give you some good advice and tips and to the comments. 1: When spawning in as a driver, you will need to hold 'W' (Console I don’t know if it is supported yet, but mobile is supported), you will see a shorter number under the increasing number, its best to either keep your throttle at that or a bit higher. 2: When you see the alarm with '!' Either Click it with your mouse or for a quicker way, press 'Q'. 3: At a station, depending on your train, you will need to stop at the S sign, and if the station has a 4 sign, and your train has 4 carriages, stop there, (Same with 5 & 6). 4: When you are going to your next station, the station that is highlighted YELLOW, will be your next stop. Stops that are GREY have been already done. 5: When entering a station, you either proceed with 30 or 45mph. 6: At a TERMINATING station, proceed into the station at 15mph. 7: Join the SCR group, to unlock Trainee Driver. There are also Qualified Driver, and Dispatcher, (I am a dispatcher) 8: Trainee Driver - Join group. / Qualified Driver - 50 EXP (I believe) and you will need to take training. / Dispatcher - 360 EXP, you will also need to talk training. Hope this helped everyone! Have an amazing day!
MOAR!!! By the way all trains in this game are british or are used in Britain and they are not subway type. I think you have to press it so it doesn't say it was ignored. There are signs with markers which say 4 cars stop, 5 car stop S Car stop look out for the marker for how much carriages your train has then stop at that marker.
When there is a warning, press q to accept it. A driver knows where to stop because there is a sign saying 3-car stop or 4-car stop or 5-car stop or 8-car stop or S car stop. The class 357 is the equivalent of London Northwestern Railway. Edit: Actually, the class 357 on Connect is the class 350 on Northwestern
@@WASIURPA The game is in alpha... and it's an EXPERIMENTAL LAB. Of course it's gonna be boring, it's not the full game. But why don't you look at how the game is currently going and see how much potential it really has?
Oh boy. Here we go. OK, so I play this game often. The reason you kept stopping randomly is becuase you need to press Q. It's called AWS. It stands for automatic warning system. You need to acknowledge that the next signal is yellow or red. When you are coming into a station, stop at the S car stop, or your trains rolling stock number. Hope this helped. - Sam
SCR is an amazing game, it would be amazing if you try and do all routes and lines and maybe even join the group and show people the Dispatcher role for example and unlock stuff!
Note: Your Thumbnail is promoting false content and you are showing a game called 'Rails Unlimited' instead of Stepford County Railway. On behalf of the group, I request that you change this. Ban_LNER Senior Signalling Team
IM SO HAPPY YOU PLAY THIS ONCE!!!! THANK YOU!!!! Edit: If you hear the beep and the yellow thingy is on, you have to press Q or click on it. For the rest, you should keep speed limits. I can give you a little training of you want😉. I have a total of 5229 experience in game and I used to have 11k points, but I spend everything on the previous update which had been released one and a half week ago😂😂😂.
Quick tips, because as a dispatcher this personally annoys me 1, STOP AT THE S CAR MARKERS (Or the 2,4,5,6 markers, depending on the size of your train), stopping at it provides a good location for dispatchers to dispatch your train 2, Get the station names right lmao 3, follow the speed limit 4, Blow your horn at the W boards (I just recently learned this lol) 5, Finish routes and get XP to get better trains and routes 6, Press Q for the AWS (Automatic Warning System) 7, Come back here for the guard update it’s gonna be amazing
OH YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA btw the tiny number underneath your speed is your speed limit. and the beeeeeeeeeeeeep thingy is to make the driver aware of stations ahead, red or yellow signals, etc.
Press Q when the yellow beeping pops up. Thats part of the driver automatic warning system (AWS). In order to acknowledge the AWS driver alert, you need to press Q or click the yellow exclamation at the bottom. The numbers on the station are stop markers (where to stop ur train) the numbers represent the amount of train cars you have. If the station doesnt have numbers you stop at the universal stop which is marked by the giant S. XP is granted at the end of the train line. Lmk if u have any other questions lol. Also you should attend their training sessions once you get 60 XP to rank up to Qualified Driver. They teach u a lot of info there. (Like so Seniac can see this)
You did awesome, Seniac! Just a bit more XP and you could be driving anywhere in the county! I play this game about every day and as soon as you get the hang of it, it never gets old. You should explore the map a bit more, it is gigantic. If you need any tips, I’m sure many other SCR people like me in the comments can help you out!
Hi im very a expert of then scr game the first train you drive have 4 carriages so if you see the 4 stop marker stop near it a stop marker is a black square sign green stand for proceed yellow stands for caution and red is danger hope this help👍
Seniac, drivers know where to stop because there are signs with the amount of carriages of their train written on some black boards. For example: if you have 3 carriages on your train, you stop at the 3 car marker, if you have 4 carriages on your train, you stop at the 4 car marker, and if you have 5 carriages on your train, you stop at the 5 car marker. If there are no signs with your amount of carriages, stop at the S car marker. And if there are no signs with the amount of carriages or an S car marker, you can stop anywhere along the platform.
Tips: Press the ! button or press Q Stop at the S sign or any signs based on how much coach's you have Example: Have 4 coach's and stop at the 4 sign DON'T JUMP ON THE TRACKS Follow speed limits since you were ignoring them If a station has a dispatcher. Your train will be fine after dispatch and wait for that until it's finished
Drivers know where to stop in a station based on the amount of cars on your train. You’re driving a four car train, meaning when you pull up to a station there will be a sign that says 3-4 or just 4. If nothing, always stop at “S”.
And when you see the Yellow Back thing calld AWS you have to press Q to Confirm that you are Noified that the next Signal is Dopple Amber, Amber or Red hope i helped. I love this Game and i hope you play this again much love. Lemons Live/ NullOldi Produktions
You drive a train You press q to stop the beeper You stop at the number of carriages You follow the speed limit You get experience by completing the route When riding trains go to stepford central Don’t call a station a big little station If you stop of the platform it takes money away from your earnings You press the button so the train knows your still there As a qualified driver, this is triggering Edit: now I’m a guard, this is still triggering
