Haha just come across you today and it's exactly my story too. I started about 2 months ago on my electric bike at the age of 50 for a few extra beer tokens. I'm a Sainsbury's delivery driver for a main job and a little just eat and Uber on the side.

Best paying times are usually between Friday-Monday So weekends and the start of the new week. 6am-7am breakfast 12am-3pm lunch then evening around 6pm-3am (pub/club kick out times) but also depends on location and how many fast food places are around your area etc. Good luck though fella! It has good and bad days like any job lol.

Here in NYC we just got a new law and now all the apps pay us $29.93 an hour but only for active time. Still pretty good

Hello! Great to see videos from another delivery worker in Sheffield. I also do Deliveroo part time as a side income. I would say look at getting yourself registered with them if you haven’t already. The mileage you had to cover in that video working with Uber was crazy! On a busy shift I find with Deliveroo you have that many order offers come through you can effectively stay within a few miles of the city centre or your chosen suburb.

hi bud, I'm a 50 yr old guy and I started uber on a e-bike then got a pizza delivery job for papa johns, as they were short of drivers. I then went by car for 1.5 years but the cost of servicing the car, clocking 20k miles and still do uber is hard on the car. Now I'm thinking of getting a e-moped this year to save on cost. So glad your channel showed up for me. Can I suggest try and get on just eat, if you can. ride safe bud.

Ridiculous you are having to drive on those streets with cars parked on both sides and barely one car width been them. Not safe. Selfish car parkers, but it looks to be very common where you are. P.S: In the few order Ins I've done, I never get to see how much the driver / rider actually is getting paid. I pay a fee for delivery which really can't be all he / she will get. So, I'm tipping not knowing how much the driver / rider is getting. Do they get paid extra on top of the delivery fee In charged and the tip i give?
