To be honest, I cried at Somerset's execution. I don't know what exactly he was in reality, but in this series he is one of the best characters. While Thomas Seymour aroused my hatred and contempt, Edward Seymour enjoyed my respect and regret. Two brothers, but such different people. I still like Mary, and Elizabeth has finally started to become the Queen Bess that we all know, it's very pleasing) In the final scene, Amy seemed to realize that something was wrong. I feel so sorry for her. In season 2, most of all I am waiting for the scene of Robert and Elizabeth's joint imprisonment in the Tower. This should bring them much closer together. I also can't wait to find out who they will take on the role of Philip of Spain.
Ive been literally blueballed, i expected that this episode would have brought the death of Edward and the alliance of Mary and Elizabeth to take the throne, now I'll have to wait a whole year to see it, anyways i still have my books to keep me company tho
2:20 centre left of this shot is me!! I’m the peasant with a hat on and waist coat, my eyes are hidden from the shadow of the hat I’m wearing but still makes me happy to see! 😁
Well we know why Anne Boleyn you are happy simple reason had you and your cousin Cathrine Howard had gotten a divorce from Henry the 8 and if you both were still alive during Mary’s reign well don’t know about Cathrine Howard but you would be killed immediately
Elizabeth: While he rules, we do not matter. Mary: Thank God! Elizabeth: Thank God! Mary/Elizabeth: 😂 (We may be rivals as well as opposites, but we are still Tudors as well as sisters also, and most importantly, we are both women. And as women, we know perfectly well how cold and indifferent the world can be to women, and the fact that we are the King’s older sisters only makes that worse! Oh, and God forgive us, our little brother’s recovery is actually such a turmoil to us both - genuine relief and comfort that he had survived, but also genuine anger and disappointment, for his survival meant the death of our own ambitions, and that we are still bound to serve and obey!) Mary turns to leave. Elizabeth’s smile fades as she continues contemplating to herself, “This game is not over yet. Like it or not, want to or not, I have to keep playing with all my heart and my might if I want to survive and thrive as best as I can. Farewell, old me! Hello, new me!”
