I love that he's just an unfiltered, semi-literate, kazoo playing himbo and she's his cackling Amazonian handler, gently keeping him from going completely over the ledge or wandering into traffic.
Exactly! Three years later and I'm still so salty, I actually only recently started rewatching Braime scenes on RU-vid because I couldn't even stand to look at anything GoT related for almost three years, that's how upset their ending was to me. I miss them
@@beezer81 I would literally just read excerpts from the book to try and gauge a feel of where the story might have gotten with them and I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have ended as it did on the show, I can still buy the 'Bran being on the throne' bit but there's no way Cersei and Jamie would survive their incestual abomination.
@@zaynrivers7433 I mean, some divorces are mutual and at least slightly amicable. Especially for the sake of children. I mean, this wasn't the case for my folks lol, just sayin
Except she probably didn't pay for it it might be covered by wardrobe, or Product Placement, or even sponsorship.. Or even Nordstroms's easy return policy.
5:36 I don't appreciate how no one laughed at Nikolaj's joke here. Not only it is hilarious, it's actually an excellent rebuttal to Gwen's comment because it points out the hypocrisy of the shoe supposedly criticizing consumerism when it must cost an inexcusable amount of money in itself. And Nik thought of that right off the cuff, it was an extremely intelligent joke.
She's supposed to be ugly in the source material, but on the other hand who else would you cast as her? Which other female actor can you see overpowering some of the most skilled martial warriors (Loras Tyrell, fricking Jaime Lannister despite being handicapped, Sandor Clegane in the show) in single combat through sheer power? Gwendoline Christie just portrays such an incredible aura of strength, she was perfectly cast, imo.
She isn't 'literally' gorgeous, she's attractive in your opinion. The amount of people undermining their own statement by trying to add the word 'literally' as a reinforcing term is astounding.
It's basically Jaime's and Brienne's relationship in the books. Jaime is rude af to Brienne, but when Ronnet Connington insulted her in front of him, he bitchslapped him with his golden hand.
@@carliegriffiths6290 Very true lol but really it is like brother and sister. Reminds me of how me and my brother act with each other. We talk some mad shit to each other but if someone else ever fucks with us it's game over, man, game over.
@@Effedup yep, i have 3 sisters amd we are all pretty close in age. We used to have the nickname 'the unit' as if you started on one, all 4 would appear 😂 ....we would still beat the shit out of each other though! 😂
"Nikolaj likes to work on making me feel vulnerable and not at ease" *nik looks at gwen in the softest most genuinely caring way possible* there might be something to it

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed! Like he leans in when he talks to her and looks her directly in the eye so often! Can somebody look at me that way, for real. Lololol
I've never actually seen a single episode of GOT so I had no idea what they were talking about most of the time, but I happily watched all eighteen minutes and forty-two seconds of this video. These two are hysterical.
And we now know from this interview that his Englishy accent is all from her running lines with him 🤣 he imprinted on her like a baby bird. You can hear the difference between season 1 and season 2 in his accent.
A true friendship knows that razor thin line between "banter" and hurtful insults. To outsiders, they sound the same at times, but to the friends... their's a loving difference. These two have mastered banter.
its often better to be 12 year old's together then be in a room with depressed, looser, low vibration fucking people, theres a difference between having a sense of humor and having fun with one another then being 12 smh, its called great chemistry ...👏👏💯 #knowthedifference
@@Guy_007 It was a joke. Sarcasm? Ever heard of it? My intension was saying that they're so fun to watch and so easy to love exactly because of the reasons I mentioned. Take it easy.
Can we all just agree that this actress needs to be way more famous. All of her co-workers end up falling in love with her and I'm going to take that as a sign that she is absolutely the next Meryl Streep
@@twoofuslt when I said fall in love I meant the friendships she's made with the actor that played Jamie in GOT and Jenna Ortega is largely based on their admiration for her. I was exaggerating.
I imagine D&D skipped a massive, important part of his story arc, honstly several seasons before, like season 6 in the shows they just fucked off with him
At 1:57 notice how Nikolai was about to mouth "so bad" but stops himself and says something else. LOL. I hope someone still watches this and looks back to this interview cause of House of Dragons. God I wish these two would work on another project together.
The fact he called her brain, then Brian, instead of BRIENNE is so funny not only because duh he should know her name but the spelling from the fan was probably actually the one who botched it and he just went with it 😂 love them. Miss this show when it was good, what a time to be alive!
It's so good watching these two having such a great time together, especially Gwendoline's full belly laughs. Brienne was always overly serious not allowing herself to enjoy anything. Brienne changed Jaime into a better man with honor and responsibilitywhile those two were together.
That *awkward silence* Is Nik thinking to himself (hmm i would think to change something but i'm contractually obligated ti say it's great) meanwhile he is trying to finish this thought while saying no xD
Ziaberry yes, this relationship. I was CRUSHED. I felt I was left ugly crying in the rain. It was so brutal. Oh, this wasn’t a question for me? Oh. Sorry.... 😁 (There really is a laundry list of things I’d change, but these two were especially painful)
In certain areas in South East Asia, it's a plus or an asset for companies and merchants having employees with big boisterous laughs. Why? They scare devils, therefore dispersing bad luck in business. What I want is to have Gwen in my house for its cleansing.
Gwen- speaks into the egg like a microphone Nik- holds the egg like a speaker They're two halves of a whole idiot I swear to God I'm going to miss them so so so much 😭😭😭
Gwen: “It’s really not gentlemanly to eat while doing a television interview,” Nikolaj: “Well, have you ever thought of me as a gentleman?” Gwen: “Good point.”
Steel Bear Yeah, and now he’s trying to cover up his own stupidity by calling me names and goading me into a mudslinging contest. I’m totally going to waste my time on a troll like that (not!).
there is this tweet; "shout out to nikolaj coster waldau for getting through filming this episode without quitting the show and running off into the danish woods" and I think it's perfect way to express how bad it was
I don’t get it *spoiler* As in she’d change that they didn’t end up together? What’s funny about it 😑 Or would she change the whole last season because it was all terrible?
This is legitimately a real thing. Same with how opera singers have a stereotype of being larger. It’s about the diaphragm and how air moves through the body and through the vocal chords.
@@itsanoformethanks6277 Maybe. I used to have a really nasally laugh with a lot of sort of snorting when I was a teen. Now I have a booming laugh like some fucking saturday night cartoon villain and people find it adorable for some reason. And I was always a hulking behemoth of a man. Huh. Maybe you're onto something.
I can't believe I'm only seeing this video now. I envy their friendship so much. And t reminds me how badly I want to see both of them do more, together or separately.
