I used to DJ many, many years ago. My records sitting in a crate in my basement through many moves. I recently got a turntable and I am listening to them again, they have almost all survived quite well. Vinyl is more durable than people let on from most things but heat. Yes some are a bit warped, but they've all played. This was one of my all time favorites and youtube is the only place I can enjoy the digital version . Thanks for posting.
The arrangements of this song are without peer. In this rendition, the holding notes of the trumpet and sax link the entire melody and mood in perfect harmony with the lyrics. Just perfect. Superb. Such beauty in real musical talent. No high tech bullsh!t needed. The greatness of these musicians is something special.
Masterpiece of production from back when things were from the heart. Would a modern dj producer fade the bass out for over 90 seconds to really tease the drop at 5:01? No!!
When the taking on the giving starts to get too much Let the music hit you with its healing touch Last night's just a way of marking time Everybody must express their feeling sometimes Express their feelings sometimes They say a tree Is as tall as its many branches mm-hmm But not all God's children Had the same chances Get Down Let the self be the need in life Don't you know that you can count on second chances Remember the future And never look back Listen to the spirit while your body dances You're loosing your mind but that's ok You're locked in the groove, don't The hall of dangers The power in love You walk the fire for what you dream of … You losing your mind but that's ok You're locked in the groove, throw the keys away
You see if you ask me we're heterosexual by default, not by decision. It's just a question of who you fancy. It’s all about aesthetics and it's fuck all to do with morality.
My ex would hide this soundtrack from me so i ordered 9 of them and left one copy in every room i went into and kept a few for spares she finally gave up and started listening to it
There is just too much good music in this film. The unique dream-world it creates, with that druggie contrast it was filmed. Every frame and sound is perfection. 1000 Years from now Trainspotting will still be the greatest YOUTH film ever produced. And that ending was electrifying! Best fucking ending ever. Ever.
@@Scrowlock12 Its my favorite ending ever. And my second favorite film of all time. It just makes you feel reborn. Favorite film endings would be: Transpotting, Saw, Ex Machina, Blade Runner. La Haine.
This is one of my fav tracks in the soundtrack but the Pulp track is actually one of the first that springs to me. Incidently the one that comes just before this one (club scene) in the movie.
Ah mate being 20 now and seeing the scenes at raves back in the early 90’s is depressing. Hopefully it picks up atmosphere wise when this pandemic fucks off 🤣
