In this ASMR/bedtime stories video, I tell you two "mystery stories":
- The discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun by archaeologist Howard Carter and a supposed "curse of the pharaohs".
- The "Wow! Signal", a radio signal recorded in 1977 that remains to this day the strongest contender to be an alien transmission - but this is not that simple.

I did one about Joan of Arc long ago, but it's quite low quality because I had no idea what I was doing back then ;). William the Conqueror would be a good idea, I talked a bit about him kast year in a video about various famous castles, including Windsor Castle.

@@Fractal_blip kinda actually - however it's like I'm the *American Cousin* of Lorraine. There is a Lorain Ohio and I'm 99% sure it's where my name came from. It's a family name that's so far back no one is sure anymore. 😀 Someone actually asked me one day if I claimed all Orios and then told me. I hadn't any idea and never noticed!!! 🧐

There’s a reason your Roman ASMR has 1.3 million views, it was amazing! Please release more on Ancient Rome. Maybe delve deeper into a particular emperor or the Julio/Claudian bloodline or even the life of Cicero. So many options!

I cannot tell you 'Thank you!' enough!! I have been going thru an incredible amount of stress and haven't been able to sleep except for 15 min here or there - too much death, sickness & trying to hold it together for everyone else... I love the mystery and science stories, and your delivery and narration are impeccable! I am so thankful for all your hard work, you bring comfort and peace at the end of the day and I have come to rely on your silky voice to sink into restful sleep, the best medicine ever! I am not a big fan of cultural history, but find prehistoric, ancient lost cities and civilizations fascinating, especially in regards to the inexplicable monolithic structures and megalithic builders whose advanced methods of milling, cutting, transport, and construction we still don't understand and cannot explain or duplicate today, even with our advanced technology! How did ancient neolithic peoples carve out such amazing works as Petra, the Kailasa temple, Capadocia, etc. out of solid rock with supposedly primitive bronze tools barely capable of marking granite, basalt, etc.? Or quarry megalithic stones weighing thousands of tons over huge distances to construct the intricately precision built likes of Machu Picchu, sacsayhuaman, Baalbek, the pyramids, etc, all around the world? How did so many geographically unconnected cultures share such amazingly similar advanced techniques and structural forms? The proof is obvious but questions abound! I'm a huge fan of Randall Carlson and the idea that past advanced populations and the huge gaps of our knowledge of them have been obscured by cataclysms such as the Younger Dryas impact theory, that wiped out large swaths of humanity including the Clovis people and mega fauna and flora they cohabited with. It also ties into many historical events and "myths" such as the sudden dramatic climate change 12,000+ years ago, the great flood reported in diverse cultures, geographical anomalies like the black mat layer, the Channeled Scablands, Carolina bays, Hiawatha crater, and many other mysteries! Fascinating stuff!

YES! The WOW signal! So cool, maybe do one about Tabby’s star? That’s the one where they cannot explain how the light is fluctuating from it, the best one so far is that there’s a megastructure surrounding it, something called a Dyson sphere. No one knows what it is but it’s an amazing topic

Have you ever thought about doing a video on the relationship of the French and Aanishinaabe tribes- particularly the Ojibwa- here in North America? If you haven’t looked into that history I think you’ll be fascinated by it as I am. Fun fact: When the French came to shore on the Gaspé Peninsula it was the Aanishinaabe that greeted them; the only reason they became great friends with all Aanishinaabe tribes and weren’t met with hostility was because they shouted “Bonjour!” The Aanishinaabe greeting is “Boozhoo” the Ojibwa dialect is the most prominent spoken as it was the official language of the Fur Trade due to our dominance over the Great Lakes.
