Robin still has a hair here, way more than their 1997 Las Vegas Concert. Damn. I get sentimental watching old videos and seeing how they age so quickly. It makes me want to live life to the fullest.
@@elizabethcherry4195 it's justmy opinion but in the years before Mo got sober I think Barry interrupted Mo's answers because he was intoxicated and interrupted Robin because he was a very moody person and you were never sure who you were talking to. I think Barry was again being the big brother and to protect his brothers from scandals he chose to interrupt them so the interviewer and the public/tabloids didn't write something bad about his brothers.
@@kudabear4898 Oh please. If Maurice was drunk that's exactly when a person can't and won't be talked over. Robin was quieter by nature but very witty and always got laughs when he did speak. That he took offense fairly easily was well known so he didn't need Barry's protection if indeed it is a scandal to encounter an oversensitive artist. No one bitched more about Robin's moodiness than Barry (in fact, no one else ever did that I heard.) He was still bitching about it after Robin was dead. Plainly he was not very protective of his brother on that front. My impression is that he talked over the twins all the time because he was full of himself.
Yes, Mo started becoming more of an extrovert and talking more to the press in the last decade of his life. He got to be really good at talking to the press. This just shows how each one of them grew in a positive way each decade.

I love the Bee Gees and even if I didn't love them, I would have to respect them for being so talented, unique. But Maurice was very special. Maurice was a far above average human being. Beautiful person.

Maurice was undeniably kind , polite , friendly , receptive and always answered truthfully . And very talented! This is all and more a captivating humility. Beautiful voice...! He could, with fairness, take a lot more vocal lead, but didn't because he was too great to get involved in squabbles, in nitpicking of inflated egos. Barry may have been the brains of the group, but Maurice was the backbone: Maurice's death spelled the end of the Bee Gees.

I wanted to hear Robin speak also but talking to the press most of the time didn't really seem to be Robin's thing and this was one of those times he didn't seem to be eager to talk. I'll just catch him on another interview; after all, I can't get enough of Robin.
