It took until 1975 and the album Main Course to get them back into the upper reaches of the charts where they remained between 1975 and 1981.A successful comeback in 1987 gave them another shot at stardom and today they're recognised as one of THE finest and most successful pop bands ever.

Robin had a truly unique voice, so beautiful and true, like a reed instrument. There will never be another Robin Gibb. And it’s so sweet to see the brothers together here doing what they loved together.

To lose a sibling is tough, I lost my only brother in 1998 to a Heart attack, and Barry lost 3 brothers. I feel so bad for him, and wish him great health and peace.

Really regret not fully appreciating these guys when they were around...I was just too young and naive. They were geniuses.

The Bee Gees are the only group (I'll get the riot act for this) I know of who regularly pulled out a guitar and sang pitch perfect every time. Not meaning it disrespectfully, I call preforming on demand. They could always do it and do it beautifully. I've always loved the Bee Gees.

I'm surprised Barry and Robin didn't bust out laughing when Maurice started clowning.

Today's artists would require a backup band, voice enhancers or would pre-record the song in a studio. These guys are originals!

The three things I love is the progression of Maurice's goofing around while waiting, Barry smiling more and more realizing what he's doing, and Robin keeping his composure no matter what.

God, I do love that kid's voice. Robin is such a cherub. He has angel's sound if ever anyone did.

We are so lucky to be part of a generation where talent was what made you famous, not faking it. No auto-tune, no back-up dancers to distract you from the lack of musical substance, no one singing over top of their own studio recordings that were engineered to hide your really bad vocals and inability to carry a tune, no one half naked and twerking in another failed attempt at hiding the fact that you don’t have to be able to sing or play an instrument anymore, and no one pulled right from the back lot of The Disney Channel and thrown on stage as a “singer” because you looked good. Back in our day you actually HAD to be a musician, and you had to be good. And The Bee Gee’s are a perfect example of hard work and real talent. And a real musical performance.

Like many of my peers (graduated HS in '81), I really hated disco, and failed to recognize the genius of the BeeGees. I've recently really gained a respect for their earlier work. Such great writing and so much musical talent. Robin's voice is unique and their harmonies are brilliant.
