Until I bought the DVD of this concert, I had never heard this song before. It blew me away, and it still does, every time I hear it. So powerful. I miss Maurice, too.❤
This song is absolutely amazing. Robin and Barry are in such perfect harmony both singing lead on this that you can't even tell their voices apart except for the speaking part by Barry. Beautiful song ❤❤❤
This song is absolutely perfect, nothing to change, nothing to improve, neither tune nor refrain nor melody, nor anything else, just simply perfect, nothing less, nothing more.
one of their best songs at one of their best concerts if not THE best concert .. one for australia is such a nice raw concert they look so casual but have their craft down to perfection pure master class
As Michael used to say, they let it “simmer.” Also, the fact that the Bee Gees could simply not be the Bee Gees without Maurice shows just how much of an indispensable part of the group he was. It was a package deal. Together they were lightning in a bottle.
The most beautiful group ever!!!! Their song's are so lovely!!!! Their voice's are just stunning, above and beyond anybody else.. I put them on in my house, and dance all over!!! 💃💃💃... ❤️❤️❤️... 🌹🌹🌹...
I don't care what anybody says bout Bee Gees if you not have the love for the Bee Gees music im so sorry for them not to realize how special there music is and im a Ac/Dc,Tom Petty HB.,Pink Floyd,Journey and so on like into classic Rock and Country/rock fan but something bout the Bee Gees are just special to me and many others here to we need more Bee Gees in the world we live in today yap Bee Gees right up there as one of if not The Best group Ever will Ever be
I love this and have the DVDs, but I can't watch it. I saw them live in Vegas and at the Universal Amphitheater - and met them briefly and this just brings me to tears. Their music is beyond anything: it's just stunning.
@@simonamercuryjackson1874 yes so true, just wish that I had see them live interesting to see how the movie goes when it comes out hope thay do them all justice
@@maureenmilligan784 I think the same, dear pal, 🌹🙏 about Queen, in this case , to me, that is just my opinion, the movie is far away from painting real personality of Freddie Mercury. Let us hope better for Bee Gees. A kiss from Italy
Thank you Katalin for posting this...one of my all time favorites...the Bee Gees were the ultimate...such wonderful talent that will never ever be duplicated!!! Thank you sweet lady!!!
I completely agree with the uploader. This is an amazing an quite underrated song by Bee Gees. And this particular version as the opening song of the consert is just unbelievable. Would pay big bucks to get to into a time machine which would take me to this exact consert in 1989.
It seems as they knew the group was destined to death, twenty years later. To think about it, gives additional chill to this extraordinary performance..
There'll be one small light all over the world tonight. The search will go on for the one. It was love with no name And we glowed in the sun. There was one small dream, Incredible highs and lows, What little we knew living ordinary lives (lives). Made a dream for you, living ordinary lives (lives). Ordinary people living ordinary lives. Ordinary people living ordinary lives. We were ordinary people living ordinary lives. We were ordinary people living ordinary lives. The clock on the wall keeps moving, Time stands still, No matter how the dice may fall, Someone else always gets to call the number. Say goodbye cruel world. No pity no pain tonight. Whatever the cost all is lost. If this is love with no name, Then it's all in the stars. Whether it's wrong (wrong) or right, There's no one to blame no (no) lies. What else could we do Living ordinary lives (lives)? Made a dream for you, Living ordinary lives (lives). Oh, oh. We were ordinary people living ordinary lives. We were ordinary people living ordinary lives. We were ordinary people. What else could we do, Living ordinary lives (lives)? Made a dream for you, Living ordinary lives (lives). Oh, oh. We were ordinary people living ordinary lives. We were ordinary people living ordinary lives. We were ordinary people living ordinary lives. We were ordinary people living ordinary lives.
For those who love the Brothers Gibb, there is another band of brothers who make retro rock music that you may like. They’re called Greta Van Fleet. Search for “Light My Love”, I think you’ll like it
Grazie Katalin, per questo splendido e commovente ricordo dei mitici Bee Gees ed in un altro mio commento ho scritto che il finale con il colpo della chitarra " turquoise" di Barry è semplicemente maestoso!!!!!
