I started loving the Bee Gees during their Saturday night fever days, but since RU-vid with videos like this, I've learned so much about them and their beginnings, and now I love them and every song they ever made.
Same here. And now I cant get enough of them. I am obsessed about them in a good way.(in my own opinion 🤣)I feel so calmed and relaxed when I listen to them. They have something very special that I cant explain except their beautiful singing. They are amazing. This are my feelings when I am listening too them……❤️🥰😌☺️😀😢😋😲👍💃☀️🤸🧘🏼♀️

So much talent in 3 brothers, not only their song writing, their love for each other and their fantastic voices with harmonies like no other. I'm 67 and had great music in my youth. But the Bee Gees will always be my tunes to go to with Robin being my favorite. Spirit to Spirit. "Rings around the Moon." May Robin, Maurice and Andy R.I.P. You are dearly missed..❤💜❤❤
I grew up in the 70's listening to the Bee Gees...How can you mend a broken heart put an ever lasting impression on me...along with To love Some body and run to me etc...then Night Fever blew me away...I've always been mesmerized,captivated by the brothers Gibb...my heart hurts that Mo and Robin are no longer with us but I'll always have the memories of them...all 3 brothers were gorgeous boys then became gorgeous men...beautiful personalities with each having their own unique talents...extraordinary brothers with so much to give the world and no one has accomplished what the brothers Gibb have done over 5 decades of beautiful music...writing their own lyrics and melodies even producing...writing songs for other artists that also became hits...how can one not admire the Bee Gees...as adolescents all 3 brothers decided they wanted a singing career and they did just that...I hope Mo and Robin knew how much they were loved by the world and how amazing they were...I love the Bee Gees always and their music will live on forever...
Barry’s voice is so soulful and romantic! Robin’s voice so unique and gut wrenching. And Mo such a genius in his musicality and tying in the harmonies. We are blessed to know their music. God had a purpose for them. For that I am grateful.
Robin did not have the voice of an angel. He did have a very different voice which blended beautifully with his brothers. When he sang lead - it was definitely different, but not angelic. All the lads had different voices; Barry discovered a falsetto voice; Maurice did not need a falsetto voice because he had a headvoice; and Robin had a voice which stretched across both voices (God knows how). It doesn't matter - as they were brilliant harmonists. Bee Gees were just brilliant.
He did and thay all have there ways Barry. Now has stopt working he ar home with his famly his voice is not as good now but he rites with his sines it will be a sad day when he leaves us to goes with his brothers and the when the wives go withe the tha will be the end moes wif you never no about now I am having 2 o robings songs when I die xxx
Maurice has always been my favorite, but I really like Robin in the mid 1990's. He looked healthy, handsome and very mystic. And his ethereal voice... oh my gosh... gets me every time. I really wish Robin and Maurice were still alive. I miss them so much. 😢

However, Robin is a beautiful talent. For all 4 Gibb brothers to have dropped out of school, when 13,---how is it they are so smart when it comes to the music industry. None of them speak as if they only have a 13 yr. old education. They maybe studied @ home & got their GED. Especially ROBIN speaks very intellectually!! He came across as quite intelligent in the music industry and history. They must all catch on fast though. His tone is always right on. A bit temperamental/short fused/could be 'cause of all extra drama he's been through, the others brothers have not. Barry has an excellent ear for music,--- well really all do. Not near as many video' s on RU-vid as used to. Since the Elvis 2022. Everything is about Elvis now. Have you notice how hard it is to find Bee Gees music now on RU-vid??

Most moving, raw, vulnerable and emotional singers my ears have ever heard. There will never be another group that touches my heart and soul like the BeeGees!
@Belle Whittington, Oh Belle,-----I hate to hear anybody has a broken heart💔! I do understand. I used to cry quite a bit myself, (at first), when watching these live performances and interviews. But I've learned, it gets easier in time. I just keep watching,---It does get better. I just found the more I listened, the easier it was to just, "BUCK UP." I went to a funeral very recently for my brother, a farmer. One of his four daughters got up to share about her dad. In that,---I learned when his daughters would let their emotions get the best of them, their dad tried to teach them how to be stronger in those times. He' d just say two words to them,---"BUCK UP"!! Now @ first hearing that, I thought that was a bit 'crude'. But, it is true,---at times we do need to get some additional emotional strength. So if we need to get a hold of our boot straps, & pull them up,---OK THEN!! I would rather pray for the Spirit' s strength. But @ times we do need a quick reminder,--if 'two quick words' an remind ourselves to get back on focus of getting ahold of ourselves & gathering the strength, that' s OK. Because after all, who is the source of Strength? I then can pray for my Savior to help me. This brother is the first of six of us to pass. Our parents have been gone for some years now. Being the youngest,--- I just may need to brace myself/probably see a lot more of this in my lifetime. Or maybe not,---maybe I' ll be next,--- we certainly will never know until it' s our time. Only one who knows that TIME is GOD himself. Not because HE causes it,--- just that HE knows "when". He knows all things, from "beginning of time" till the "end of time" and everything in between. I need to just TRUST 100 % in HIM!! 🙏
Same. I remember vividly playing night fever in my head in the garden on a hot summers day around 9 years old. When I hear it to this day it still sends shivers down my spine.
The Bee Gees, specifically Barry, specifically this concert that inspired me to play guitar. I always wanted Barry's blue guitar. It rings so magically. Also he was the one who introduced me to open tunings. I could never follow along with him in standard tuning as a kid and I never knew why until I researched how he played. First time seeing this video!! It’s probably the best I’ve ever seen!! I love these guys, their music, their talent, their looks 😍 just so much!! They don’t even need instruments-their voices ARE instruments!! There’s never, ever been another group like them!!
People that do not understand a word of English love the Bee Gees. Their voices don't even need instruments to sound great. They were one of the best EVER!
I've always felt that Maurice was the one who "felt" the music most whenever they performed. You get a great sense of that here, in spite of how he always got jipped on camera time and being the most underrated of the band in general. He's always gonna be my fave tho. Love him! 💖
Barry hugged all the limelight, it's always like that with eldest siblings, they're like dictators, even though they love you, they still boss you around. I love Robin so much.

Thank you for posting this, I’ve never seen it but what a treat to hear them tell the stories of some of their songs. They were resilient artists who demonstrated real stick-to-it-ness for decades. They deserve every accolade they ever received.
Love hearing them interact with each other. Trying to picture them as little ones growing up and all the magical times they had as children. Thank goodness they chose to follow their dream.
@ Cheryl Mccollum, I agree,--so glad they didn't give up on their "dreams" to become famous. The Beatles were one of the groups they looked up to, idolized, inspired them.But other than Rock n Roll & Love Ballads, what did the Beetles do? I admire the Bee Gees in not fearing to experiment w/other genre' to stay current. They lasted so many more decades by doing that. Bee Gees lyrics always made sense/told a story/meaningful/heartfelt Beatles lyrics lost fans in heavy laced drug use.👎👎
They were such good friends to each other they supported loved and cared so much for Andy as well. It's sad that there's only Barry left they were 4 great brother's and Barry must miss them so much.

I've love all the bee gees growing up during that Ara. 50s,60, and 70s. Robin's my favorite voice in the group. I had a crush on him when I was young . As robin got older her had a sexy way about him. Losing the 3 guys tho I'd heartbreaking.
Love, love the BeeGees. Grew up with their wonderful songs, the 60's and 70's were the best era for music. Barry was always my favourite, love his voice and how versatile it is. Also have to mention how gorgeous he is.
Totally agree! Although Robin’s voice was the most unique Barry’s voice was the most versatile. All of them were beautiful but Barry was definitely eye candy. Gorgeous.
I am a diehard fan of the Bee Gees. Thank you so much for posting this. Of sll the videos Ive watched, I believe THIS is my favorite. It shows the Bee Gees in their vocal prime, voices still strong and looking healthy. Although Barry has always been my favorite, Robin was a serious force in the group, particularly in the 60s and early 70s. Those classic songs are the reason I fell in love with the brothers Gibb. The Main Course and Saturday Night Fever albums are what continued my love for the Bee Gees. Getting to know more & more about each of them makes me appreciate them even more. ♥♥♥

My Memaw,My Momma, My Aunt ( her Sister) they line danced , cleaned house and just left wonderful memories oh my goodness.🔥💜John Travolta danced on stage when they went to see them at astro dome in Houston when my momma was 16. It was an amazing experience she still talks about till this day. They made these gentlemen a huge part of my life ❣️ and Andy Gibb as well ❤️🩹❤ Ive continued these Legends into my Own Lil familys Life as well 🙌🏼🔥⚡❤️💟 🎶🎵🎶 Just none other Like them nor ever will be! To think until after they sang the song did they know the meaning of the words "Jive T@lking". Worked out though. Then again maybe with what I heard my leg Was being pulled. Truly one of their best songs.

@@jeangunn7213 He was their Manager. Stiegwood was contracted to do the soundtrack for a movie about a dancer played by John Travolta & co-staring Olivia Newton John. Movie didn' t have a title yet. Ironically, the Bee Gees already had written 4 up-tempo songs for an album they were working on for themselves. Stiegwood liked all 4 songs. They needed a Love Song, so they wrote one for movie, and continued to write to finish the album. Theme song to movie held #1 on the charts for at least 4 weeks. That ended up being their best selling album/highest grossing movie soundtrack there had ever been @ the time. Until Whitney Houston movie w/Kevin Costner, (The Bodyguard).
I feel really sad whenever I listen to Words, not because of the lyrics, it's because it makes me think of Andy, he did sing it several times back in the 80s, with really high similarity to Barry and with his twin brothers' smoothness! However, this is probably the best Bee Gees video I've ever seen, they were just so humorous, intelligent(especially Robin) yet so humble, so good job for posting this!

Robin never sang I started a joke better. Wonderful. Barry said "some felt it was about religion" - I hear several lines differently now- one can apply it to a fallen leader in the church & it makes sense. Love this personalized concert form. @@L.M.O. it's just that it is so amazing that 1 family can be all that equally talented, it's rare, some can have 1 or even two, but all them having the same passion and talent in one aspect is beyond expectation, just how their mother raised them.
@@shiyoutarocurva1910 Well they had a father raising them as well! That helps. They didn' t need to be raised by a single parent, which is a real challenge. They' ve certainly had their up' s and down' s. Their parents have had their challenges. They were a poor family, who moved a lot for their dad to find work. Their father struggled to support the family with this band he had. There was a time as well, the parents were basically asked to take their family and LEAVE THE U.K.!! That had to have gotten to be pretty bad!! What parent really likes hearing that? It appears Barry and Robin had a terrible fascination with setting fires. Many times destroying property,---not making a good impression on authorities. So these boys gave mom & dad plenty gray hairs. And their dad was like their manager in Australia for those 10 years. Sounds like he was a driven man . He set standards quite high for these 4 sons. Their childhood was practice, practice, practice, perform, perform. Their Springs were not golfing or cross country running. Their Summers were not Little League, and Swim Team, their Falls didn' t include Flag Football. Their Winters was not sledding w/their friends down the biggest hill in town, nor playing basketball on inside gyms. These kids worked to help support their family. Once getting back to London in 1967, their gigs were financialy supporting the family totally. As a young adult Robin & wife Molly went through not 1, but 2 near death experiences, and the emotional trama of that afterwards.Those sons bought their parents a HOUSE with their earnings.
