Glad you think so as Robin had MANY women in his day.😉I personally think a man who hasn't "been around the block" is sooo much more appealing, than someone who cruises for sex & shares his wife's lovers with her.😳😬😳
yeah I know I like his sense of humor but I really like him and wish him and Maurice were still living so that I could have met them get to become a friend with them and become Barry's friend as well because I like their music so much
2023 and still listening to the brothers Gibb...my love for the Bee Gees music goes way back to the 70's...some times it feels like yesterday when I first heard How Can You Mend a Broken Heart...I was mesmerized by the brothers and still am...they captivated my heart...I miss you both Mo and Robin, two beautiful souls that went to sleep way to young...and I know you both are singing in Heaven...Bee Gees music will live on and forever will they be in my heart...
❤I 💭 I was born with the BG 🎵 playing,my mother was a 🪭 in those days.I WAs born in the early 70s,so it’s my mother’s fault, but really it’s not a bad thing,I still like you.,everyone should be proud of themselves with what they have and do GOOD with it…GOOD ON YOU ALL…😅😅😊
The guys were always so humble we getting all the applause from people. So down to earth and not forgetting where they came from and helping those in need.
Robin was on top form here.. And so gorgeous! It makes me so sad that the older he got.. the quieter her became. .. Why? 😢 He never answered as much as Mo and Barry did and he didn't laugh the way he used to. In interviews on his own he was more himself but he definitely started to withdraw when he started losing weight and he cut all his hair off. He was sad about something. Was it his marriage? Did he have other health problems? Oh Robin you were such a darling... I'm in awe watching you sing.. Im sure I speak on behalf of everyone who loves you.. You should still be here 😢
@@juanita6479 - I sort of doubt it was his marriage since it was supposedly open by mutual consent but many friends said Molly was really the love of his life and he said himself his divorce was a tragedy for him. I suspected he had health problems for a long time. He seldom looked robust although when he had meat on his bones he looked really great. I read somewhere, although it could be gossip, that he was always worried about getting fat and both he and Mo had digestive problems for years since childhood. I'm an RN and wonder if those likely developed into Mo's volvulus (twisted bowel) and resultant death and Robin's bowel cancer, two similar problems. They were twins and perhaps inherited similar metabolic genes. I loved it when Robin was cheerful and animated on stage but he did seem withdrawn when performing for several years, just standing at the mike. It seemed so much joy had gone from his life. He had always been, in Mo's words, "moody" and was a very deep thinker and a worrier. Barry said he was very funny but had a dark side. Shy, artistic, introspective people are prone to depression. I also think he felt underappreciated in many ways compared to big brother the "handsome" one. He did, as you said, stress out over losing his beautiful mane of hair. It was gorgeous and one of his trademarks (along with those lips and eyes!). Of course losing Mo was a deadly blow from which he never recovered. Who knows? Regardless, it would have been nice to see him happy more often.
Yes indeed! And their music deserved a Hell of a lot of more air play on the radio. The song they led out with "Paying The Price" is an excellent example of their music always evolving with the times. Should have climbed right up the frigging charts! Could easily see myself jammin to this in a night club! (But Radio disc-jockeys decided what music got to the public's ears back then. Such a Sad-Ass Fact.)
Ví una entrevista sobre está canción,la hizo Robin y los hermanos no la querían grabar, el insistió y lo hicieron ,y estuvo días en los primeros puestos!
@rosiebuys254 Mo was adorable🤗 I think his antics were so endearing. Of course I loved everything about beautiful Maurice💕. Miss him and Robin so much. Andy too
I've never seen Robin so animated in an interview before. He almost seems flirty. I also remember exactly what he said on Howard Stern...These guys sound amazing. I wish we still had all of them. No one compares!
@@mariekeung7187 Just use Google to find the interview! It's not a video, only audio, but it's high quality and you can clearly hear Robin! (Brace yourself!😜) Howard was a shock-jock and I feel Robin, for the most part, was just going along with that Vibe? Although it is known that he and Dwina had an Open-marriage! Anyways, Robin ran his mouth a bit too much on his personal sex life. But I think Robin was having fun and exaggerating Quite a bit! Anyways, it's rather interesting, ....shall we say?🤔 It's been a few years since I last listened to it!😉
@@gloriamaryhaywood2217 I tried to Google it but could not find it. Probably been taken down since then. I did see a written article where he was quoted to love that his wife was a lesbian and enjoyed having threesomes, etc. with her females friends However, they seemed to downplay and deny that in later interviews.
@@mariekeung7187 Yup. In his later years Robin began taking on much more serious world issues. Like the BBC. And being President of The British Heritage Foundation, ect. So he needed to Stop with the outlandish stunts. Of course he still had a child with his live-in lover when he was 58 years old!😉Because Robin was a man who lived by his Own rules. And Good for him! It doesn't change my opinion of him in the least. He was a wonderful, sensitive and deep feeling human-being. A true humanitarian. And that's what counts at the end of the day!!😉
@@gloriamaryhaywood2217 So sad that all 3 brothers are gone. Oh, what great songs they would share with the world if they were all still alive. All that great talent, gone. Sigh.
All this talent, song writing, singing and instrumental all without training. They were the best always, then and now in August of 2020. I miss them and their sound and of course their fantastic looks so much. RIP Mo and Robin, and to Berry, you are still the best 🙏💔🙏💔❤️❤️
Me toó!! From Argentina...Pandemia... Me ayudan a sobrellevar... Mágicos, adorables, voces del Cielo, sencillos, nada arrogantes, LORDS, GENTLEMANS, ..DESDE LOS 11 AÑOS CONMIGO Y POR SIEMPRE !!!
These 3 guys simply is out of this world!! They sure are simply talented and yet humble with the meaning of the word. Not most of the artists these days. It’s 2021 yet Barry carries on with complete grace and the twins died and same trait.
Man these beautiful men can touch your soul with their lovely voices; simply tremendous! Or, they will get your body moving before you know it! It never hurt that they are all heavenly handsome💋😉💓
Their interviews were always so much fun to watch cause you never knew what was gonna come out of Robin’s & Mo’s mouths! They were so funny & all three seemed to have fun together. Robin lost that light somehow over the years, rarely laughing or cutting up, I wonder if he was clinically depressed, it doesn’t require a reason. Whatever the reason, it was such a shame cause that was part of his Sexiness, the thing that would draw you in was that boyish grin & playfulness. His confidence & that Sexy voice that cut you to your core & melted your heart, turned your legs to jelly. Maurice was also Sexy & could draw you in with his joking & playful antics & then there was Barry who always was so handsome & still is. Such a loss for Barry, their Wives, Kids & Poor Mother & also their Fans & the World when Andy, Maurice & Robin does, they are truly missed!! 💔💔💔♥️😥😪😢🌹
Robin may have had some clinical depression going on, or maybe some important things in his life weren't going well? Robin was always a deep thinker and prone to be 'moody' at times according to band members, and even his twin, Mo, has said the same. Once he stated it right in front of Robin during an interview. He said, Robin can be a bit Moody at times! I forget exactly what Robin said in answer, but he seemed to agree!?😉 And Robin seemed to evolve into a man who became interested in some serious issues of the world. Such an interesting and many layered man. Of course, once Mo died, well it was the final curtain call for Robin. Never was the old Robin to be seen again. It rocked him to the core and it seems he never, ever truly recovered.
@@gloriamaryhaywood2217 You are correct. There was a video of him saying that when Mo died, that was his "personal 911" for him. He also said that the saying that "time heals a broken heart" was not true and that over time, you just move that experience to a different shelf. The pain never really goes away.
@@mariekeung7187 I would go so far as to say that had not Mo died, perhaps Robin would still be Alive? Deep Grief has been proven to have very detrimental effects on the physical body. Robin also started jumping into all sorts of projects after losing his twin. Like somebody else once stated, he was working himself damn near to death!! To me it's so clear that Robin was desperately trying to out-run the pain and the loss. So sad. I wish Robin somehow could have been spared that awful experience of losing Mo.💔
@@gloriamaryhaywood2217 It's possible, but I don't think the brothers lived a clean, healthy life either when they were younger. Many interviews have shown them talking about drug use, alcohol, and some videos show them smoking. Life of stardom is not easy nor glamorous. Too bad they didn't heed the lesson when their baby brother, Andy, died from drug abuse. So sad. Such a handsome and talented family. Barry, somehow, survived all of that, as the "last man standing".
To the best of my knowledge, Barry's drug of choice was pot, and Robin's was amphetamines; Mo's problem was alcohol. None of the three older brothers got involved in the hard drugs like cocaine, as poor Andy did. But Barry's and Robin's drug issues happened when they were younger, at the beginning of their careers -- they were clean by the time baby brother Andy was falling apart. It was Andy who needed to heed the lesson of his older brothers, not the other way around. And sadly, his older brothers were not able to save Andy from his downfall. @@mariekeung7187
THE BEE GEES SO TALENTED SO DOWN TO EARTH 🌏 MAGICAL VOICES, THAT I WILL NEVER HEAR AGAIN. THE BEE GEES WERE WONDERFUL SINGERS, SONG WRITERS , AND PRODUCERS FOR THEM SELVES AND FOR MANY OTHRES, WOW !!!! 🙄THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER GROUP LIKE THE PHENOMENAL BEE GEES. GONE BUT FORGOTTEN THEIR MUSIC WILL LIVE FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS. ♥️💕R.I.P. ANDY, MAURICE, ROBIN GIBB. 🙏🏼✨🕊😇♥️✨🙏🏼 MY FAVORITE WAS ( ROBIN)
Love Robin voice the most , Mo voice is very good also. Not sure why we never got here them more. Miss them . Berry sang the most , his voice was also very good .😊😊❤
Robin became more quite,as he was the middle child and he wouldn’t I’ve had the chance to get his point across,no one would have taken him seriously 😟 ❤
I agree and I loved it. I wonder if it went any further ? The way he looked at her ! He loved her comment, that she couldn't be with her own mother for more than 10 mins. I have watched this video many times and always find something new. How about Robins's comment to take their clothes off !! He loves to tease.@@gloriamaryhaywood2217
Yes Robin did become quite and sadly lost in his own way. I feel his cancer made his life more reflective. He kept it secret from Barry and Mo had already passed.Such a sad life in many ways,Barry being so badly burned and in hospital for such a long time. So traumatised he didn’t even speak until he was four. Now he is so sad that he is the eldest and his three younger brothers are all gone. He has a beautiful family but that huge loss leaves him devastated. I love each of them,so much talent gone way to soon.❤❤❤
Fenomenais e muito espontâneos! Esses feras jamais serão esquecidos, e suas composições e interpretações são de uma qualidade ímpar, e servem de inspiração para as atuais e futuras gerações!!! Inesquecíveis e eternamente em nossos corações... 💖💖💖
Barry & Mo were at odds about how to deal with Robin's affair with Claire in 2001. In the end, think that may have had something to do with Barry & Mo's relationship, which Robin should've never put on his brothers. Then in 2002, Robin re-recorded Andy's song by cutting it up & changing the lyrics.....& I think that was the final straw for Barry. Barry said he was so devastated what Robin had done, and that he didn't talk to them first. Plus Barry said it was "a sacred object" to them, something he tried singing a couple times & couldn't get through and no one should have tampered with it.
