Certainly not like the Bee Gees because they have a unique sound. Yet, Home Free has as good and seemingly effortless vocals; five vocalists instead of merely three.
This music has no generations!!! Because not only it is unique , of a beauty, perfect , sublime, but even because touch the deepest chords of emotions . There is no genius in music like the Bee Gees, they and their music are at the top of the perfection and geniality of human creation. They have created a universal thing, no matter what generation you are, since it was created ,in the present and in the remotest future , you feel and will feel the same emotions, this music does not stop at its creation but reaches the furthest points universal abyss, incorporating all generations in a single context.
This was actually the first take they did. It was supposed to be a practice run, but sounded as close to perfect as Barry wanted, so they said "This is the one."
IF you felt heaven on this earth the way it has been since time enumerable.....just wait til you get to the real heaven. Can anyone even imagine what awaits us that is so beautiful that even the Gibbs Brothers could not sing a song to describe the feelings.
Lordy, those harmones ARE too much heaven. Probably the best vocal harmonies ever recorded. And Barry's ad libs and falsetto are off the freaking chart.
There is no music today that can compare to the music of that Era, because the singers of today rely on to much technology to sound good, like outotune these guys were some of the best
Many musicians, especially back in the day, did not want to explain their lyrics and music because they wanted people to embrace their own meaning to the song. It is what makes reaction videos fun and interesting because you can connect with so many people who have a unique viewpoint.
Three guys and 1 microphone...no autotune...digital wizardry...just their amazing vocal harmonies and a small orchestra...one of the greatest love songs written...great concept for a channel ladies...new sub here looking forward to diving in to your reactions
With all due respect singing harmony isn't inherently difficult if you are musically inclined. Once I put my mind to it as a teenager and practiced diligently it became quite natural. Of course you have to have a good ear and pay close attention. ✌
I love this reaction. Mom experienced this real time as I did. Late 70's early 80's. Your daughter can only imagine what we experienced. Thankfully we have video. Mom would have been a hot young chick back then., not that she is not now, but at the disco...Oh My.
I had the great pleasure to Play supporting Group to the Bee Gees in 1968 in Selkirk Scotland. A Wonderful evening !! Alan Duncanson, singer in the Scottish band The State Property!!!
They have such incredible vocal harmonies. It's certainly one of their very best songs. During the disco era, their 2 most popular ballads are Too Much Heaven and How Deep Is Your Love. Both songs went to #1 on the pop charts.
Earlier on the, very same day, they were in a different recording studio, in a different location, they were recording a song, that they, had wrote for, their younger brother Andy, they got andy song record, and they left that recording studio, went to this recording studio, where they had a orchestra waiting, and they got this song done, on the very first. Take !
I was 11 when this was released and liked it. 57 now, and it makes me a lil faklempt. Lots of loved ones gone from those days, maybe what triggers it in me.
That is actually the original live recording of the song. Near the end, if you look way in the back, you can see the people in the sound booth. This recording studio was huge. A full symphony with all the instruments, guitars, furniture, plants. WHAT? That's the kind of attention you command when you are the BEEGEEs. Loved your reaction to the video. 👍👍❤❤
Great song, obviously. I’d known this song since it came out, late 70s or so, but I hadn’t seen this video until last year… and what really shocked me was seeing that this was a live take with orchestra. I mean, even in the 60s there was overdubbing, doubling up vocals, and certainly my expectation was that the orchestra did its thing, then the Brothers Gibb hit the studio to run a few takes, perhaps on separate tracks, until they got it perfect… but this was all done at once, no dubs, real time magic… this impressed me so much more than simply hearing the end result back in the day!! Just incredible!!
Hi...!! I just love your stile to react, you love the love and that is a great way to live, congratulations and....never change..!! wish you the best...👍🏻👍🏻
Love the Bee Gees they are the best group ever. These brothers are so talented and humble. I have been privileged to have listened to them all my life. Great reaction!!
dear mother and daughter Nice to see you again, now with BeeGees songs When I was a teenager and young, Bee Gees were my second favorite group, after THE BEATLES Now in my adulthood, ABBA grew inside me and went to first place, but I don't forget the old songs of Bee Gees I have a very special Top5, I would like you to consider these songs for your future reactions: Massachusetts Lamplight I can't see nobody My world Mr Natural a final fact "Too much heaven" was part of the Concert for UNICEF (1979) organized by the BeeGees, with invited artists who donated royalties from their songs That night ABBA was also invited and premiered their future hit "Chiquitita" (Colossal impact in Latin America, which prompted ABBA to sing it in Spanish) I hope to see soon in another reaction My best wishes to You from Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷 South América
Bee Gers are incomparable and legends. They were featured in the Book of Guiness as the most successful songwriters of all times. Nobody can surpass their harmonies esp. switching tones and tunes. Sir Barry Gibb was knighted by Prince Charles for his contribution to music, sadly his brothers Robin at the left side and Maurice at right passed away when the award was given. They are genuis and talented brothers with Andy their youngest who went solo. Produced and composed hit after hit.
They grew up near me and people who knew then when they were kids said the mum would drill think in singing techniques constantly.... Guess it paid off!
The utterly fantastic Brothers Gibb or “Bee Gee’s” as they are more commonly known . . never in the world of music has humanity come accross such a talented family but it’s also sad to think that Barry (the lead singer) is now the only surving brother of the brothers Gibb as his other three younger siblings have passed away.
Thank you for your great reaction. This is certainly a beautiful song and their harmonies are out of this world. You are correct, they are beautiful men. What can I say...Barry and his fabulous falsetto self is in a league a his own. The brothers were such generous and humble men.
Thank you ladies for this video. The Bee Gees were incredible singing together.Ther concert in Las Vegas from '97 is awesome, please do something from that one.For another group in the '70's who had some great love songs, try listening to Dr. Hook do Sharing The Night Together. Thanks again for this!
