Alison, just watched this video. It is the prettiest bee peekaboo that I have seen. Am I correct in assuming that I can use GG instead of e6000? Except for vinyls, decals and glitter, I only want to use Crystalac products. Which reminds me, can a power wash tumbler be done without using spray paints?

Hi! So I did this with a cup and when I went to pull off the vinyl it took layers and layers of BT with it. I was very gentle. I am trying again. I really hope I don’t mess it up again. What do you think I did wrong?

Yes but if you’re putting crystalac on top you need to let it dry out really well first like several days

If we use spray paint instead of the black gloss... would I still put a layer of BT over the removable vinyl before spray paint? And if I do spray paint... when would I remove the vinyl? Thank you so much! Love your videos 💕

It just takes that much for it to help! I actually recommend using the crystalac glitter glue now!

do not drop, handwash only, do not soak, do not microwave, do not put in the dishwasher, do not leave in the hot car

I don't count my layers, but probably about 10 to get over the chunky glitter and a just a few after i removed the vinyl

Instead of doing a solid black layer, I was wondering could I hydro-dip my tumbler, then peel off vinyl and then continue with my BT?

How long does the liquid mica need to dry before a second coat. You said a couple of hours before you started BT so is that the same for the second layer of liquid mica? Thank you! I love your tutorials!

Nope, it's completely non-toxic and has no hazardous ingredients

Why did you use e6000 and do that process 3 times? Isn't it just for sealing the glitter?

It's for sealing and flattening your glitter. It's important thay it's super flat so you can cut down on the number of coats you need to get the cup smooth!

It's not, it's a tinted polyurethane. You can use acrylic paint. It just needs 48 hours to dry!

the amount of time it will take you really depends on how much time you can dedicate to working on our projects. It takes me about a week to get cups done... but i have limited time :)

If I need a second coat of glitter when should i add it. ??? It is currently on the tumbler spinnknh u have not applied e6000 yet

You can apply a second coat after 4 hours.

If the cup is still tacky after the first e6000 and waiting an hour should I smoosh it but let it dry before the 2nd layer of e6000?

Yeah definitely let it dry first before adding anything on top. The bottle says 1-5 hours.

I am on the layer of peeling off the removable vinyl and there are black smudges everywhere on the glitter! What do I do to fix this?! Also the glitter feels kind of sticky and soft underneath.

I put 4 layers of the black paint on every 4 hours and I dont know if its paint that smeared underneath the vinyl or the vinyl stuck too much to the glitter?

I HAVE HEARD IN OTHER VIDEOS AND READ THAT THE CRYSTALAC CURES IN 30 DAY. SO WHEN IS IT SAFE TO MAIL OUT/GIVE THE TUMBLER TO THE CUSTOMER?

It takes up to 30 days to fully harden but is safe to use after about 5. I mail them out after 5 days!

Why would you have to wait 2 days if you use spray paint instead of e6000

spray paint has solvents in it and it takes time for it to go through a process called off-gassing

I did a peekaboo under a 3 in one color and glitter...and could not find my vinyl at all...and when I did find it and pulled it up, it pulled up the 3 in one paint as well. Should I do it with something else?

Did it pull up to the stainless? What kind of vinyl did you use for your peekaboo? And some people put little drops of hot glue on their vinyl to keep track of it!

@@AlisonCrafts It pulled up the 3 in 1 color that was on top of the removable vinyl (Oracle brand). Am I supposed to pull up the vinyl when the paint is still a bit wet? I put two layers of 3 in 1 totally teal and glitter on second layer...let dry. Tried to pull up vinyl and it pulled up the paint around the vinyl...

I've never had that issue. I just pulled up some vinyl yesterday that had been drying for days lol did it pull up all of the paint all of the way to the stainless or just the coat on top of the vinyl?
