Champ pretty much uses this team and his dorm team interchangeably depending on how he feels or the matchup it seems. His mag was doing no work whatsoever the whole weekend and it looks like he is going to drop him. The new team he's been working on looks pretty solid tho dorm/doom/phoenix. U get to see him put in some work against Canada in the 5v5 vod if and when that is uploaded. Bee's team is sooo entertaining and sick goddamn.
well, to me the best doom is clockwork's. Nowadays we only see dooms do these bigtime fancy ass swag TAC combos and random footdives, but we've seen clockwork confirm 80% combos just by hitting you just with L punch in very random situations. His mobility, confirms and use of ammy's assist is just on another level. Too sad he's not been around for a while.
Not many people can play Frank West well. Champ normally plays ridiculous keepaway but refused to change his team. So Bee was able to catch an unprepared Champ with all his set ups. It didn't help that Champ wasn't breaking any of his TAC's because he has Phoenix on his team. That's the only reason he should have switched. He was giving Bee a free level 4/5 Frank.
Well that's simply because Champ constantly tries to save his doom and dorm/phoenix. At the same time his enemies are constantly snapping Magneto out for the other too. Why? because they know that magnus isn't the problem, its the other two . Magnetic blast can be used as a spacing mechanic. It can also be followed up by a hyper for some effective damage and a mixup potential. Oh and you can Xfactor cancel the hyper into a bread n' butter for a quick kill and an even better incoming mix up.
yea i get what ya mean, but f champ has used phoenix a lot, and I mean a lot. it doesnt matter who he uses "more" now. His phoenix is still incredibly solid and the use of phoenix over dorm isn't the reason why he lost.
Money is Money, especially for travelling. And while I do agree that they rely on drones, Champ relies on hidden missiles and crossups. Plus, if u know how to effectively use a move, than that shouldnt make u any less of a player (Like ChrisG's Morrigan). Its not like they're mashing foot dives. I don't think Ryan's ever made a big comeback with Magneto, while I see Ray and joker do it all the time (especially Ray). Champ really shows his skill when he makes those Dorm/Normal phoenix comebacks.

That's already pretty old, and a lot of doom's can do it now. And they're not talking about combos, they're talking about movement, strategy and knowledge of the character. I don't think FChamp's Doom is the best in the world, but it is definitely one of them.
Because the guy was destroying his whole team. He realized his only way of winning was with Phoenix. If he's opening up Mag and Doom he would open up Dorm too.
For instance Ifc yipes has three teams but his main team is Dante Virgil and Hawkeye, and he has a alternate that he loves to play Nova Virgil and Hawk eye and his specer team spencer virgil and hawkeye but his main team is dante viril and hawkeye anyway u put it
phoenix vs. dormanuu.... they are both his main team. he uses BOTH. They are both his main team. just because he used dorm during the final matches more, doesnt mean its his main team. F Champ used pheonix FOREVER.

You're pretty confident dude. These are pros., don't forget, they manage to do what most people think is impossible. No matter how good you think you are they will beat it out of you. I dont think you've ever won a major. Yeah he got bodied but you have to remember that those two have insane teams synergy and at the same time the best magnus/ sentinel/ out there. I rank Joker top 3. Champ's magnus isnt as good. Its his Doom and Dorm/Phoenix that body people.
No its main team because if he really wants to win like with the evo team he will most likely stick with dorm than phoenix epsically since he is LOSING with the her Phienix is is alternate regardless if he uses phonenix he will sometimes switch to his main team
Joker is no fraud my man. America agrees that he has one if not the best magneto and his ironman movement/execution/ and techs are insanely good. You would get perfected 10 times in a row if you'd played against him. America is better, but Canada is not free. They are the country that gives them the most competition.
Go to Shoryuken, click on forums, then Regional Matchmaking. Find your region, and then find a thread for casuals in Central Florida. I hope that helps, best of luck finding people to play with, it's the only way to play fighting games :D
nothing more glorious than watching someone use the phoenix CRUTCH and get that butt humped for it. Hopefully bee will come to evo next year and make champ his girlfriend again
Bee raped everyone with that setup. Now that ive seen it in good quality footage, i think its a double mixup (forward roll, back roll) that crosses up twice. If jam session wasnt so obstructive to the view i dont think itd be nearly as effective.
Mary Moses, Champ was completely owned, in every aspect, Defense, Offense, Style, ground control, air control, mix ups, cross ups, what a slaughter, Champ needs to retire that Phoenix, it's been to long and everyone got tech on her bitch ass now.
@OMFGPrinnyDood the only real role doctor doom played on champs team at evo was being an assist character he's not bad with the character and i never said he was but in my opinion he's not the best in the world. Marlin pie has more technology with doctor doom (amy team combo the TAC which he made popular) and overall better execution.
ive seen him use dorm/doom/phoenix before (during evo 2012 when he won) but i didnt see him use her much after winnin evo2012. i think his dorm/doom/mag is his best team. i just watched ChrisG get his butt handed to him. someone shut that morrigan shit down with zero. people hate chrisG's morrigan .... i hate anyone's zero (lol) especially flux's zero. question, i live in florida do you know where i can find places in central florida where people meet up to play?
i think filipino champ started to get to cocky and satisfied with his win at evo becuase he has been losing alot lately he needs to focus more. I dont think that was his best
Canada is still free thats 2 players joker is a choke but bee is really good you still have ifc yipes combofiend and many more that will put the hurt on canada. But F champ has kinda fallin off since his championship at evo
I mean hell. Clock has a better Doom than Marlin. If anything it's Clock vs. Champ for the best Doom. I don't want to get into it, but Marlin has to rely on Ammy to play Doom well. Champ and Clock can play him well without any gimmicks. Marlin just abuses the system by making untechable grabs and TAC infinites with Doom.

America has never won a japanese major in Street fighter, but that doesn't make them free at the game. In fact they are pretty even. Plus, I dont remember seeing any big Canadian pros going to US Majors. Champs techs don't have to do with his mag gameplay. Im just saying that his movement and execution arent as good as that of yipes ray ray or joker
I think the best doom is Chris G's. MarlinPie has the swag combos but they did a lot of 1v1 dooms Chris G vs MarlinPie and Chris G BODIED him at the break.
I still can't understand why Filipino insints on using his Phoenix team. He's Dormmamu is the best in the world, so good, but he still picks Phoenix everytime. I simply can't understand this guy.
ChrisG is the best? I doubt it. There are many top players out there that can beat ChrisG. He is a great player, but to say the best would to imply that he barely ever loses. I would consider him amongst the top 10 players in the world.
And thats the same reason why Canada doesnt go to the US. Thats primarily the reason why joker bee or quandizzle never go to the US.. Why are you being so offenisve about this dude? I didnt mean it like that (was running out of space). I mean that Champs true gameplay comes in with his doom and dorm/pheonix. His mag tech is great, but its only because he has so much knowledge of his team as a whole. without the assists His mag alone wouldnt be as good as the other big mag players.
