I'm Thai like Achara. Like Koreans with Christianity, we are mostly, almost 95%, Buddhists and also like Koreans, we are either super religious or not at all. So that scene in the church hits hard.

I could be wrong, but I really think that Ali is this character that she is portraying. Like, she really is like this or that the character is reflective of her life in many ways. She really embodies this person which is interesting. When she tries sharing with her husband, he misreads that she’s depressed. I don’t think she’s depressed at all. I think the feeling that she’s trying to articulate to him is one of constant anger, frustration with life not ever meeting her expectations no matter what happens. I think she’s always been looking for something outside the box, something exciting and super surprising at the same time. I think she wants to be shocked by life for once. This is the reason behind her destructive habits and behavior played out in the series.

This show just gets crazier and crazier each episode. I started watching it for Ali Wong and Steven Yeun, but the story is quite nuts and enjoyable. Btw I can't believe you guys still haven't reacted to Heartstopper. :(

i watched the full thing, Amy isn't a saint obviously, but Jaby is too hard on Amy where he's being very understanding of Danny (who, later on we find out that has been screwing over his brother's life & more manipulative things) The 1 thing i failed to understand is that, Danny did so much wrong, but expects everyone to ignore it then he cries (metaphorically) over little inconveniences [when it comes to Amy, he runs for revenge] Perhaps that's because he's the MAIN character

I think it's because he's financially less privileged, which is more relatable and could be easier for someone to root for. Amy is more privileged and seems to be aware that she can be an awful person, whereas Danny always sees himself as a decent guy who's a victim of unfortunate circumstances. However, he is using those circumstances as excuses to justify his awful behavior (his response to Amy's road rage; using his financial situation to steal from a church). I feel for him, but he has to admit to himself that his current situation should not justify his awful behavior and realize that he's irresponsible with money the moment he gets his hands on it.

I understand this dude's uncomfortability with the whole "church" thing. People who don't believe in anything can get easily overwhelmed by another person's ability to believe in something "higher". As a christian, I even feel that way about other religions sometimes. Islam, Judaism and etc. all seem foreign to me cuz the experience is so different. But we all fear things we don't understand.

I really hated Amy for allowing herself feel comfortable and open with Danny's brother, and eventually you'll found out SPOILER (cheat) and hide it. I don't really understand why you guys are annoyed of George that's part of his character. Amy could just tell him to shut up and stop chiming in when he wants to and actually listen but George does it unknowingly he's always trying to calm her not knowing how. Amy needs self help she needed to stop thinking about money and stop thinking about someone can help her. Therapy definitely wouldn't help her bc she'll just put a fake face like she did with couples therapy with George. I hate Danny's brother so much he's stupid, childish and gullible and in the end he is much better but you'll hate him so much at the start if there's anyone you should hate at the start it's Danny's brother. George and Amy is like a dieing relationship they both needed to stop fooling around and start rebuilding the relationship. I wish they showed their relationship in the early start. So I could feel wanting them to stick together but I didn't root for Paul and Amy or Amy and George. Paul being a stupid slimy dirty simp made me pissed later him knowing he's making a women cheat even worst to me terrible hopefully for others

TWD was the biggest project he's been a part of early in his acting career. Steven Yeun said multiple times that TWD helped him learn so much about acting and he improved his skills as an actor during his time on the show. TWD literally jump started his career and helped him become a great dramatic actor. Say what you want about that show itself, but incredible performances from talented actors were showcased on TWD, which helped give them a boost in their careers (however I do wish the plots on TWD were written better and the actors had better written material to work with so idk).
