This is variation from Korean traditional Kimbap. I am not sure if I can call it Kimbap? Well, I used rice( Bap ) and seaweed ( Kim ), so yes, it is a kind of Kimbap. But the way I made it, it is more likely close to Sushi style although there is no raw fish used.
The most important thing is that I used snack pack seaweed which is roasted, seasoned, crispier than Sushi seaweed sheet.
If you are a beginner to K-food, and wonder how Kim tastes like, you can definitely try this kind of seaweed first.
Out of all, my youngest daughter is a picky eater, this is one of her favorite Korean style food with Kimchi and Bulgoggi ( Korean beef dish ).
