Made this last night to have comfort food for the rain... Man! The difference between stove top, and oven is amazing. There is absolutely a difference, and I'm not going to over talk it as AB says but its simple, and good.

Just commenting in case anyone is like me and had everything listed except for the crushed tomatoes & tomato sauce. I made this using a 6oz can of tomato paste mixed with about 3/4 cup of water. It was still sooo good & filling. My husband got up for seconds before he even finished his first bowl lol. Thank you for the recipe! Didn’t know what I was gonna do with the ground beef I had thawed.

When I was a kid about 10 years old, a very nice neighbor brought over this exact casserole except without those extra seasonings. But it also had sweet corn mixed in. But that's it! Great video!
Delicious, made this for hubby since we were fresh out of ideas on how to use the ground beef. We added a red pepper that needed to be used up and a small amount of frozen peas taking up space in the freezer. Only used a little bit of cheese, since hubby doesn't like dairy, and instead topped with Panko crumbs 'n' butter put under a low broiler for a few minutes to brown them. Highly recommend this dish!

Hey 🆎 Now you're never wrong with this! People feel they have to use spaghetti all of the time. Says who? Maybe an Italian person may argue but to me I like being different with my pastas. You can make this meal light like you did or maybe more robust by the pasta you choose. The sauce is the key to it all though. I usually make my sauce a day or 2 ahead and refrigerate it so everybody can come together. Then I will reheat on the stove top or crockpot while the noodles are cooking. Lastly combine and stir. Serve with Texas toast garlic bread and a salad. Don't forget the cheese...Parmesan and Reggiano are my fave.

My mom always called this red goulash. We also had white goulash with spicy Italian sausage (pre browned), mushrooms sautéed w/ butter (precooked), then add cream of mushroom soup, garlic, (precooked) wide egg noodles, salt, and pepper. Accent (msg) if you want a boost in flavor and not scarred off by it. All in one pot.
