Tried this recipe and it came out amazing. Very simple to cook and the family enjoyed it with Scottish bread rolls that are similar to Indian Pau!

You can use cassia bark (popularly used in India known as dalchini) which is the alternative

Yes ofcourse! The cooking time may vary slightly as mutton cooks faster

In Mangalore we call meat curry made in this fashion as a stew. Not every dish needs to have a medley of vegetables to qualify as a stew and have you not noticed the potatoes in it?
