When has Beenie man not delivered ( am not a beenie man ) but i love some of his songs, Hands down he's one of our best stage performers if not the best outta Jamaica

Hands 👐🏾 down not many artists can compare to Beenie Man Jamaica 🇯🇲 should be grateful for this man here, i remember he was in England at Stratford Rex and they had to keep another show because too many people turn up and he mashed up the shows, now which young artists can do that and it's when he was young too so this thing about young and can't perform don't sit well with me dem don't respect the craft and not studying to get better.
The hits- he's got a ton of them The number ones- he's got a lot of them The different genres- you can definitely find a song or 2 for him. •Gospel, soca, jazz, samba, hip hop, reggae and dancehall• Whatever the show is- he's surely adjustable for it. Stage performance- trendsetter in that area. This man here is a complete artist and an icon. His feats in the business is incomparable so it's only fitting that his kingship shouldn't be questioned or disputed.
Gone are the days when Rebel Salute was strictly a Rasta Man/Culture Show. Rocksteady, Dancehall, Gospel, Lovers Rock is now largely included. And its all kept CLEAN.
Always well dressed though not gonna lie he ruled the dance hall in the 80s and 90s alongside yellowman Bunty,Ninjaman,supercat,merciless,Buju,Shaba,terror fabulous,etc etc,that time dancehall was dancehall,🤔
I read almost all the comments and I now understand why the dancehall culture dying out , most young people here blaming band that’s one of Jamaica greatest band you all don’t understand that the band has no intention to play the riddim the same way you hear them everyday it’s call creativity!! Now young people please go study the music because as far as I see u all seeing out the culture !

I am sorry, but Beenie Man no longer has the stage presence of recent years. It appears he is overcompensating by working too hard to get the audience to energize. Once upon a time, all Beenie needed was to walk on stage, and the crowd goes wild. Nowadays he is shouting in the mike, and all he gets is tepid reception. I think he needs to rework his routine.
Noel Williams were you there? Rain was falling like crazy all night. The place wet and muddy. People cold and uncomfortable. The show ran 2 hours late. But yet they stayed to see him. Don’t think they were disappointed!

Nowadays he is performing as if he is competing against the younger artists. He has nothing to prove. All he needs to do is perform his hit songs and dash wey the rest.
