I'm not a huge fan of the Mexican America angle (I see a dead end), but this promo, especially from Storm is outstanding. The other guy makes for a great heel, but Storm has a great old school vibe that you just don't see anymore. One of the very best in recent memory.

Despite being portrayed as being from Mexico, none of the members of Mexican America were actually from Mexico. Hernandez is American of Mexican and Puerto Rican descent. Anaquia is American from Texas. Sarita, despite spending most of her career outside of TNA in Mexico, is Canadian. Rosita is Puerto Rican. Out of all the stables and gimmicks in 18 years of TNA history, Mexican America was by far the worst one. And, crazy thing... James Storm mentions Los Guerreros in this segment. The arrival of Chavo Guerrero in TNA marked the end of Mexican America as Hernandez turned face and joined forces with him whim Mexican America quietly disbanded, as Anarquia was released from TNA, while Sarita and Rosita disappeared television. Sarita never performed for TNA again, while Rosita had a one night return under her real name Thea Trinidad.
