2 months later and I'm still astonished at the Miller Lite ranking and the fact that all of these beers were drank warm and ranked as such. It is no surprise that these gentlemen hardly ever drink beer. Love you Charlie and Matt!!
Its actually better that they drank them at room temp in order to make a tier list by taste. When you chill beer, the volatile compounds that give the more subtle flavors by evaporating into your nose get suppressed, so you don't get nearly the same flavor out of it.
How is miller has a lite version. I drank a beer for the first time just two months ago, and it was a miller. (About 8%) The sht tasted like watered down wheat yeast. (It didn't smelled or tasted like peewater to my surprise) Drank literally two liters and felt nothing. Drank a carmen wine first time two weeks ago and was already tipsy in the second glass. (13.5%) Also I drank almost all possible commercial alcoholic beverage in last 3 months, I found out I don't get drunk. I just get tired like I take sleeping pills..
@@JacktheFireEater None of these were intended to be drank warm with a possible exception to Guinness, they should've been at least pretty cool. Lights are all pretty bad if not cold in my opinion though.

bbno$ was a surprisingly good judge here. he brought experience to the table while Charles mainly brought his first impressions which was a nice contrast. Matt is, as usual, okay with everything which fits with his jack of all trades character so there was a nice balance between the 3
Another video idea: Do a blind tasting of some known drinks! I once did a beer quiz for my party where people just got the cups and had to guess all the brands from a selection, most points win. Surprisingly they started disliking the brands the usually liked, a lot of people apparently were already biased by seeing the brands and were shocked when I told them that almost no one guessed their top tiers right.

It’s understandable why Charlie chose to do a beer tier list instead of a wine tier list, other wise he could’ve just turned the water into every brand of wine therefore scaring our guest, completely understandable..

@@oobergoober1398 Alcoholics suffer from compulsive issues. If he really was a 4 year sober alcoholic, this would be considered a major relapse. Thankfully, he’s not.
Every once a while i try a One Month Detox where i drink nothing alcohol related (my choise of alcohol is beer, i dont realy like wine and i can't stomach hard liquor), this April is another one of those. I dont drink that much in normal months though. Only about three per week maximum and sometimes i even drink only two or one. Some weekends i skip because i have severe anxiety and drinking with panic attack is a big red flag so on those days i stay away from alcohol. I drink only in the weekends but yeah, its almost a whole month i drank nothing. The best about this is that once i can drink again in the weekends i love it so much more and enjoying my beer if choise. That beeing said, a one month detox is something i do because i have hypochondria and always getting to fear for my stomach or liver so i try a detox to reset my body and making sure I'm not getting a livercirrosis even though i only drink 3 at maximum a week so i think I'm safe. Also i dont like getting drunk. I drink fir enjoyment, taste, smell and just because the activity I'm doing then thst evening gets ten times more enjoyable. I'm happy the month is almost over but it was a blast beeing sober for a month.
To preface this I do enjoy beer, so I've had experience with other brands. One night I got trashed on Coors Light and was drinking them left and right. I didn't like them, but I was just drinking to have fun. Eventually I see the label of the beer in my hand and see it's a PBR. I drank at least two before realizing it was a different beer. They tasted so similar I had no clue until I looked at what was in my hand. To me it's perfect they share a spot on the tier list.
Probably the worst beer rating I’ve ever seen. Putting blue moon anywhere but the trash can is criminal, and ranking BL and Modelo on the same tier is nuts.😂

I quit drinking over 8 years ago and the taste of beer was something I really missed. When Heineken came out with 0.0, suddenly I could enjoy beer without compromising my recovery: It was a game changer. Now I enjoy a multitude of non-alcoholic options from Stella, Corona, Sam Adams, and countless others and it’s f*cking awesome 🍺

My family enjoys bud, Busch, miller lite, coors and modelo. In the Midwest, leaving the beer outside to stay cold, Miller is the only one that doesn’t freeze
as someone to whom drinking only twice a week is a huge W, i'm really proud of these guys for all the sobriety, as well as anyone else that doesn't partake or is trying to cut back.
I don't know what it is or if I'm just different, but I tried drinking a bunch of beer and liquor when I was younger. I never found anything I liked the taste of, and the stuff always just made me feel horrible, similar to the effect of taking a bunch of melatonin. I hated that feeling of being buzzed, and getting drunk.

You’re actually correct about the color of the bottle having an impact on the taste. Beers like Modelo and Corona that use clear bottles develop a different taste because the sun can penetrate the bottle more than green or brown bottles which alters the beer’s composition.
To further the point it's called "skunking" and its where the UV rays of sunlight break down the molecules of ismoerized alpha acids forming new compounds. This can happen beer also if left to cool and heat many times while in bottle. The off flavour is usually literally like skunky weed smell and this is why the end of a corona can stink like weed at the end of a bottle on a hot summers day.
@@Yos115 no, he’s right. The light saturation does affect the taste. But he’s wrong in implying that it makes a significant difference. Beer bottles really aren’t exposed to light, certainly not for long enough to make a difference by the time you’ve tasted it. Perfumes and colognes will also break down from light degradation, so if you want THOSE to last you should keep them covered.

Which I understand cause Charlies style has always been simple but it lowkey is getting kinda boring after being a viewer so long. Wouldn't mind if the editor did some better cuts/zooms/etc.. As someone from PA it's a bummer to never see Yuengling never in these lists, especially considering it's the oldest brewery in the states. Also my favorite out of this list besides Modelo, Guiness, and Dos Equis.

As a brewmaster by trade, this list makes my day. Fun fact, the skunking that you can perceive in corona is due to sunlight reacting with the hops present In the beer, the clear bottle helps produce this reaction as it’s the most permeable to light.
