I think it’s foreshadowing for sure. Whis, being an Angel, always has ultra instinct active, and he’s been around since the beginning of super. Plus as stated above, it’s hinted at more than once haha

The aimation flow isnt bad in these episodes, just the detail was rushed a lot when they made it though. Luckily for the dub, they used the blu-ray releases which they fixed up animation a bit.

Quick backstory on that blue imp dude who was carrying a Dragon Ball radar: Emperor Pilaf was the first 'major' villain of the story, way back in the days when Goku was a kid. He and his sidekicks (Shu and Mai) aren't strong, but they _do_ know how to find Dragon Balls, so they showed up a lot in the original series. They don't appear in Z (besides some side-quests in Kakarot), but they've been brought back for Super.

@@ParadigmZwei no. Jiren is old news dude and absolutely fodder to current characters who are confirmed weaker than beerus. Have you not read the manga or watched the new movie? The gods were said by goku to still be targets for him and vegeta and beerus is the strongest one. Also toyotaro who is basically the successor of toriyama and gets all his information from toriyama has confirmed that beerus was still stronger than MUI goku and UE vegeta who are both leagues above jiren. And in the manga beerus is so far above jiren that is isn't even a challenge. Gas is weaker than beerus and gas can one shot jiren while not even transformed.

Beerus was portrayed to be even stronger in the movie. He dodged all of SSJ3 Goku's attacks, blocked all his blows without even trying, and knocked him out with a single light tap. Also, another reason King Kai is so afraid of him is because as a God of Destruction, Beerus can not only kill, but erase people from existence.

First arc = Battle of Gods. Second arc = Resurrection F (Filler because not in the manga, you can decide). Be aware the anime has not been continued since 2018 (131 episodes, tournament of power). The manga has two more arcs currently. If you reach the last episode, you can only read the manga. It is unknown when or if the anime will be continued. All they do is Super Heroes and the film Super Hero.

For context in the next episode (since he was shown shortly in this episode), the blue guy and the two with him are villains from the OG Dragon Ball. I didn’t watch it fully, and I haven’t watched DBZ myself in forever, so I can’t explain why they’re/when they became kids again (though the Dragon Balls definitely have a play in it).

Um, Beerus is neither good or evil. As a God of Destruction he stands beyond that. Like the old Kai said: He is like a force of nature. If he has decided something, then it's final. The only one, who is stronger then him is Whis. He isn't only Beerus personal travel vehicle, but also his trainer, housekeeper and sometimes his advisor. But as an Angel, Whis never fights exept for training. (remember the DB Super Broly movie? As strong as Broly was, he wasn't even close to hit Whis)
