This episode was the epitome of kicking someone when they’re down. I really felt for Derik because he does really well at being vulnerable online and it seems like the others berate him for it. Derik has the humility of an angel and I hope the people around him start acknowledging his emotional intelligence ❤

Why were they criticizing everything Derek said? Like he was the only one I wanted to listen to because of how real he was being! Laughter is ok and healthy, but there comes a point where it can be used as a distraction from the real world and our inner feelings-which is what a podcast I would think should be more about. Derek obvi had some inner feelings he was trying to let out, which takes real guts! Love you Derek🫶🏻🙏🏼

Derik is a sweet, patient guy. He really loves his brother. It seems like Sarah joined the taunting Derik train on this episode. I couldn't treat my husband like that, privately and much less with family members. He wasn't even done explaining one question and she was already ready to jump down his throat. Poor guy.😢

Derik is such a pure and humble individual. Don't let him down please. Literally loved listening to his deep analysis of questions and sensible answers. The emotional connect in them were soulful. Get well soon Derik, more power to you.

This gave bullys against normal kid vibes. I was the bullied kid once and this triggered me so badly. Laughing along to stop it from getting worse but still feeling excluded… @Derik you’re dope and I hope this was an exception and not the regular group dynamic!

I am sorry but Sarah sometimes is disrespectful towards Derek

In my family the motto is, “We are only as fast as our slowest member” and that’s quite alright. The slowest member can be any one of us on any given day because we all have our hard days(our off days) but we cover for the one struggling to the point that nobody on the outside looking in knows who’s struggling today…. You all should have done that for Derek today. Clearly he was having a tough day! He had things to say but the interruptions were throwing him off. Ladies you have to dignify your guests! I know you guys are like 4 peas in a pod, and I love the bond you share. But you have to look out for each other and especially your mate. Over all great podcast and What the guys said about their wives were beautiful. I especially loved, loved, loved what Derek said about Sarah, it was the sweetest.❤

I love y’all but I feel like you guys picked on Derek too much today. He seems sad from it. No hate. Just makes me feel bad because I’m always in that position and it doesn’t feel good to be in that position

Had to turn this off. If my spouse treated me the way Sarah treats Derik I would be heartbroken, I wouldn’t talk down to my worst enemy that way. This was grossly uncomfortable to watch. DERIK WE SEE YOU❤ don’t let an injury and guilt make you believe you deserve this treatment. You are intelligent and vulnerable and none of them can hold a candle to you. ❤

Oh poor Derik he went extremely quiet and seemed to be putting on a brave face from the middle to the end of the podcast. Only gave one or two words answers after that. They should be more aware of what they are saying can upset someone. And on a side note there seems to be something off with the Beeston bunch RU-vid videos recently. They don’t seem as happy and bubbly.

She’s been such a mean girl lately. Idk if this is Lo’s influence or her inner mean, spoiled girl coming out but I’m not a fan anymore of Sarah. Derik, you need someone who cares about your mental health, physical health and opinions. Also, Sarah seems MUCH more into Tanner, which is ick.

The more I've gone through this podcast the more I can see what a gentle soul Derik seems to be. You three are not even giving him a chance to speak full sentences. You all don't deserve Derik. #DDD 😂

I felt bad for Derik, too. I could not imagine them treating Tanner the way they do Derik in the group 🧐 It definetely comes across like he‘s the underdog of the bunch.

I've seen this fam on socials for years but the picture perfect IG influencer stuff was always a turnoff to me. I'm SO GLAD I've give this podcast a chance because y'all are genuinely hilarious and I just love the energy and realness. This episode had me rolling. Keep it up, y'all!

Derik is definitely the most emphatic and the strongest of you all. I really admire the way he is father for his children. He raise them with gret love, and the result is sunnys love for jack and jacks love for sunny.. He raise them in his lovable way and do a lot of fun things with them.

Would have loved to hear more on deriks opinions

I noticed that Derek is watching and analysing how Sarah changing into like a different person around the others. I hope he start looking after himself and stop trying to gain her approval, because all what this does is lowering his worth, and enabling her ‘not thinking hight of him’ behaviour.

I just feel that Sarah’s not protecting Derek enough. She takes too many jabs and she’s low key speaking the truth - i don’t think they’re genuinely in a good place. Their connection to Tanner and Lo is what is keeping the marriage afloat. I hope Sarah gets counselling in trying to realign the respect for Derek as much as she has it towards Lo and Tanner. Sarah’s done with Derek’s bad luck but i think that the comment about the brothers definitely “not being made from the same cloth” was i think a true window of how she feels about it. She’s way too quick to compliment everyone else but Derek. Wishing them patience with one another and for them to have a genuinely honest conversation. Whenever Derek would say something, Sarah would either not care or ignore him but is all over what Tanner says and doesn’t miss a beat to what he’s saying. I hope this weird dynamic doesn’t impact them in the future……. 43:56 - Sarah’s flirty nature is coming out and Derek’s just staring at her. She doesn’t take notice because she doesn’t even look his way for the rest of the podcast

I know that nobody asked me the question but I will answer anyways :P What I admire the most about Derik is that he seems so humble and sensitive and has a lot of empathy, he seems to be a good spirit who would not do anything to harm another hooman intentionally. When it comes to Tanner, he seems very spiritual and just good as a person, he took the role of a father and a husband very seriously. Lo is such a giggly, funny person, but she is also so creative and inspiring. She has such a great sense of art, she creates beautiful memories in a very special way. I love her colour palette - the pastels, mermaid like shades etc - this is so inspiring. Sarah on the other hand is so empathetic and also sensitive. She is also very inspiring by the way she carries herself - she is so laid back and natural - she can look like a star or just show herself in some baggy sweatshirts - she has no problem with that and that is soo cool. You guys are very inspiring and I love your fam :-D You are my first vloggers that I actually watch and cannot wait for new episodes, I also never comment anything so look what you've done XD You guys have a such a COOL VIBE - all of you! :-D

Derik does have to take a lot from the people he is closest to and loves the most. I see that too. He is so sincere, seems do pure of heart. I know he looks up to Tanner, wants Sarah to see his attributes more than flaws, Lo to see him as a fun guy of the group too. He has been thru so much in his life & we are talking close to death. I do firmly believe he & Tanner are really close & truly enjoy spending time together... I do enjoy it when you all are together and you talk about stuff, down to earth things. . While I love the podcast, I think the ladies should interrupt less. This would be so hard getting through if it was just audio cause there is a ton of interruptions and giggling.

What I think is admirable about this podcast is how you can be reflective and as friends explore your behaviors, thoughts past and present, and to share the love the four of you have with one another another. I am now 65 years old and I have never experienced this type of friendship and love with any of our family friends. Maybe I am to reserved but I truly enjoy watching your four podcasts and see this friendship love in action. So many people just want to hate on other individuals that they can not be. May God continue to bless both your families and each other as you journey through this time and place. ❤❤

I think Sarah acts kind of flirty towards Tanner, i dont know, just something about the way she stares at him… its kind of Weird. Also, she picks on Derick a lot. All of them did on this podcast and you can tell Derick was uncomfortable with many of the questions 😕😟. And its sad the fact that he is not going to Hawaii because of his leg 😢

I’m never been big on family vlogs especially families that use their kids to make money. But these two families are so fun and honest and transparent and real. The fact that they share their lives with their kids but don’t exploit their kids is very wholesome. I love that you all show the good and the bad, I laugh so much watching the podcast but also love watching both their channels. And their kids are so precious. Nothing seems staged or fake. Keep being yourselves and spreading the love and positivity!

OMG, the things that Tanner and Derik admire the most about each other are SO SPOT ON!!! I also loved hearing about what you each know makes the other laugh and how well you all know each other. People saying sarahs picking on derick and hes upset.... think about their situation. He has to be feeling extremely depressed. He cant do anything. Hes missing out on an amazing trip he wanted to go on. Probably feels super guilty because sarah cant go either, and dumb that he let that happen again. Sarah is probably so stressed and bummed out that if she doesnt joke around and keep things light-hearted, she'll break. Shes trying to stay strong. Step into their shoes and cut them some slack.
