Also, we innovate movement friendly and body friendly features such as our cross chest strapping system.
I grew up in the outdoors and majored in outdoor recreation in college. I was a gear junkie and outdoor freak who adopted all the going paradigms that synthetics were the bomb.
However I had a conversion experience after realizing that wool actually works BETTER than synthetic and down, because it outperforms any other material in wet and humid conditions, as well as increases the sleep quality and thus hiking performance.
In the past people have considered wool too heavy, however Lucky Sheep has innovated designs which fit well within the ranges of light to mid weight backpacking. My total pack base weight is 20 pounds when fully packed without food and water for temps to 20 F.
Plus our designs have been thoroughly tested by our customers for seven years and tweaked to get to the point where they compete with synthetic alternatives even for long distance hiking.
