This is one of my favourite sonatas by Beethoven Played it in my late school years never managed the fugues to well but still play the first moment you play it so well you are so talented you will go far

This is a beautiful and poetic performance of this masterpiece. I'm so impressed by the extraordinary use of silence (enhanced by modestly playing to a largely empty auditorium). The unforced relaxation of technique enables a genuine power and resonance to emerge from beyond the performer; it yokes composer, player and audience together into a perfectly unified musical experience. The great fugue (and its inversion) are also conveyed with an introspective, unforced and yet powerfully vocal contrapuntal clarity. Thanks for sharing this!

Beethoven is the main column of holding musical heavens upon our modest potentials to understand the impact of music on our vulnerable souls. His position in the history of music is making him the true master of piano sonata form, not hasitating from stretching it in line with his needs to implement all the density of gigantic musical ideas he is known for. His piano sonatas offer a lot to be analysed to pianists and theoretical experts. Having in mind his early works in manner of Haydn and Salieri, he made a giant steps in development of expressing musical ideas till the sunset of his life when, owing to unfortunate loss of hearing, he stepped forward in imagination of piano sound, creating thus a fascinating literature for modern piano instruments not existing in his time. Young people of our time, when facing with the works of Beethoven, accept them openheartedly, finding there a fusion of both the trembling human soul and the order of form yet undisturbed completely. Therefore Beethovens position in the arts of musical creation will hardly be violented in times to come. All the internal personal struggle that every human experience brings is best presented in Beethoven's music. It is so irresistible out of that reason whenever we are exposed to it...
