Nice to get "the real" info on fitting the Bed....videos put up by others so far make it seem like a four hour job, which is clearly not the case! like the amount of detail you're putting into the fitment. Top Notch.
Just a heads up. Expanding foam is pourus and absorbs and holds moisture. So any moisture that gets to it will bow be held there and rot the body work from the inside.
Looking further ahead...not sure if you are intending to go the IVA route....if you are...the rear cab glass does not have the correct markings to pass IVA....also airbags are not permitted in `amateur built vehicles. I found this out the hard way with my Bora conversion!!! PM me on Facebook if you require any more info
thanks Trevor, we intend to replace the rear glass with perspex, as it doesn't have to have the markings, also, this will not be classed as an 'amateur build' as it is being done in a professional garage environment, hopefully that will be enough to get through IVA.
@@philscars Quote from the IVA refusal certificate "Item 45 Safety glass. All other windows (including sunroofs and removable glass panels) and the side screen must be `safety glazing` (which may be made from glass, or from plastic) and display the relevant markings" - REAR GLASS NOT CORRECTLY MARKED Hope your local IVA tester is more flexible re amateur v professional built
