Honestly, I don’t care if the use of the Sandworm was similar to that of the original; seeing more of it in action was like a dream come true

That makes it twice that BeetleJuice did everything that Lydia wanted him to do.He'd rescued the couple in the first one and he helped rescued Lydia's daughter but no marriage or love to the juice tho.

Yes I feel like beetlejuice got screwed again. After he helped her a second time she should have married him he kept his promises and both movies.

Hold up you didn't tell us why Beetlejuice blew up? I was hoping you would explain to us where did Beetlejuice go after he blown up? Also, there's the question about the dream sequence in the end. Can you explain what that was about? I mean, obviously it was a reference about Carrie, but does that mean that Beetlejuice is somehow haunting Lydia or something? Why would he haunt her? I mean, like, does that mean he didn't really disappear but istill somehow around? There are so many questions. Where is Beetlejuice? He's not stuck inside the house and did they stay in the Maitland house? Also another thing, does this mean that Lydia is stuck with Beetlejuice for the rest of her life? Because he still is there or was that just a dream or was that just a teaser? I have another question, you see I don't understand. How is it that Beetlejuice was breaching the contract when the contract was made under the pretense that he would help Lydia save Astrid. He kept his end of the deal, so why is it that him taking Lydia to the neither world, broke that contract when the contract states that he had to take her in order to save Astrid, it didn't make sense because that's like saying, I'm going to repossess your car because you got a car. I thought that was a really confusing contract clause. How else was Astrid going to be saved? Was Lydia supposed to stay behind while Beetlejuice goes and grabs her and brings her back to the living world? These are the questions I had because I guess my brain takes things apart and it just seemed really sloppy at the end with that excuse. Why did he blow up by the way? I mean, like what was that about? Was it because he was inside of church? Was it the church making him blow up? Was it because if you said his name three times he lost protection from being on holy ground? Then why was Delia able to be in the church because wouldn't it also hurt her? Why were the cops allowed to go? I had so many questions. But the contract one was the one that really bugged me because, she had a contract to marry him if he brought her daughter back safely to the real world, and because he kept his end of the contract, he broke the contract? Somebody tell me, how did that supposed to make sense?

I completely agree. There was too much going on and not enough dialogue or character development.

I think Beetlejuice blowing up was because of his ego…or he’s too full of himself. The same representation happens to Violet Beauregarde in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Kanaga in Live and Let Die.

With any luck they’ll be a third sequel labeled BeetleJuice BeetleJuice BeetleJuice, with all the return of all characters except Charles actor, and maybe some new characters, but this is just me but I wonder if BeetleJuice and Lydia can reconcile their differences and maybe make a friendship if not romantic with some major plot twists

Honestly... as an avid fan of the original... I really disliked the ending. The movie was... good, but not great. The story was sort of a mess, the main problem plot got solved in literally like 30 seconds... and literally two of the characters had no actual effect on the story and could be removed... and it wouldn't change a thing about the film/story.

I think the whole movie would have been improved by simply getting rid of the fiancée thing. Felt like it added nothing to the story and would have changed nothing without his presence. Ultimately tho I still think it was really good, with only a few minor gripes.

What a laugh it is, a fun and round film, very well made... and the great ending with the music from the first film "Carrie" from the 70s, the music they play when Carrie's friend dreams at the end
