Do you have any tips for getting over a fear of expressing yourself through dance? I’m fairly new to dance and the biggest hurdle for me is being able to let loose and actually dance. It can cause me to be stiff and I know it’s holding me back from learning and improving. Love your videos they have helped me so much!

I totally understand! Learning something new can take time, so I recommend being patient with yourself as you learn. Also, try and stay consistent with practicing. The more you do it, the more you learn new things. Trust, I’m still learning a lot!🤣😍 lastly, try and have fun!!! It’s an honor to dance it out! Keep on dancing & shining brightly!😍⭐️

Joseph Corella thanks so much for responding! You have inspired me to just keep trying. It makes sense that it will only get easier with practice. The dance class I signed up for is temporarily closed and I only got one lesson in. At least I’ll still have your vids until they reopen. I just gotta remember to have fun! I may be forgetting that a lot.

Hey Joseph! I want to say thank you so much for doing these videos! I am over 40 and just got into doing community musical theater 2 years ago and was PETRIFIED of dance auditions! I actually left one in tears once because I was so overwhelmed. I stumbled onto your videos and starting doing the shorter combos and am so proud to report that I have crushed my dance auditions this season. I love the way you break things down, and provide repetition to really lock it in. I did this longer combo with confidence and a huge smile today. Thank you!

I've been feeling really down about my weight and lack of activity lately so I wanted to start working out more; not just for my weight but because I know it'll help my mental health too. I googled dance tutorials and came across this and... Beetlejuice is my life. It's my favourite musical ever, and I'm actually super excited to work out and I never thought that would happen. If you have tips for a guy who's super nervous to dance - even by himself - because of body issues, I would really appreciate it, or any other encouragement, but if not: thank you so much for all the videos you make. They make me feel like I can maybe actually move forward in life and maybe even get back into theatre!

We stayed at a beautiful place called Giraffe Manor and the giraffes lived in the property. I was taking pictures of my husband feeding the giraffe and this picture accidentally happened!
